Never played Cave Story so I picked it up. Will talk about it later.

Well thanks Sal, now I have to watch Romeo+Juliet again. (Not that I'm complaining.)

Godsdamn Kingz, always you. I was joking, but I really do need read it again now that I'm not being force fed it. I don't think I enjoyed a single classic I read in school, but quite enjoyed Of Mice and Men after reading it again a few years ago.

Three entire working bodies (I refuse to think of the "people" at these events as people) ceased to function last year in mall riots around here. I think it was something like 7 or 8 when the XBox 360 released.

Why did I ever read that stupid book. Stupid 9th grade English.

Companions die if you kill them. Otherwise they're tagged Essential and when "killed" just go down on one knee. The mobs then ignore them and go after you, they get up after an amount of time I've yet to determine. Just be careful, because if you hit them with any significant damage in this state, they die permanently.

First trips in Morrowind: Balmora, West Guard Tower. Sunken ship off the coast of. . .Sadrith Mora? Vivec Voila, enjoy wrecking the game for the first six-eight hours. Anyway, I'd recommend running everywhere or preferably fast travel if you're big on companions. Anyone mechanically attached to you (a purchased/quest mount, companions, anyone voicing dialogue to you when you phase into an instance) will come with you when you shift anywhere that requires a loading screen. Otherwise your best bet is to run. They'll catch up with equine travel eventually, but you'll probably be dead by then if you're relying on companions for the heavy hitting. Apropos of absolutely nothing, I never noticed the guy in the Flight of the Phoenix remake doing the Carlton.

I had a nice stroll today on the North-West coast of Skyrim after finishing the Dark Brotherhood quests. Fair warning on the DB: You thought them skinning Vicenti was fucked up? You ain't seen nothin' yet. I'm continually amazed by how well crafted this world is. I hate trolls, but they're less of problem when you can do x30 backstab damage.

I seem to have, in recent days, encountered a lot more dragons upon exiting interior instances into Skyrim. The best way to get a dragon to land is to move to an area where the dragon can land. If this is in an exterior town, they can land on a lot of larger buildings Dawnstar has had the company of three separate dragon attacks while I've been there, and they all tend to land on the inn. I've lost a dragon to being on the bridge into Windhelm because it targeted a guard on there and couldn't get to him. Best advice to luring dragons, get to an open area about 10'x10'. I have yet to manage to land an arrow/spell on a actively flying one. Also, I also had a Blood Dragon attack me between the College and and it landed to attack something I couldn't see. It got destroyed in a matter of seconds while I was dealing with a bear, and when I went to find the body whatever killed it was long gone. I'm a little scared that there's some murderous super-being wandering the north-eastern wastes of Skyrim now.

I am absolutely in love with this game. Potential Kinda-Spoilers On the subject of werewolves V. vampirism, becoming a werewolf is actually a Once Per Day power in Skyrim, as opposed to an uncontrollable transformation every night at 9PM. Vampirism still has the incubation time, so as long as you can get to a temple in time, you'll be fine. As for being a werewolf itself, I don't know what you're talking about Murdoc. The power attacks as a werewolf against humanoid enemies are absolutely amazing. You get such a huge Stamina boost while being a werewolf that you can keep entire groups of people bowled over while you leisurely murder them.

Hit up this GiantBomb video at 12 minutes as they play a few rounds of it. It looks really cool.

I don't actually know for sure, but I imagine if you shot the devs an email saying "Hey, can we beta test your game at an office party?" they'd be receptive. Or not! Who knows.

I don't know if you're watching Nick, but these Skyrim podcasts are really great. They're a lot like that Oblivion anniversary cast that you guys did, looking into the devs heads, which is something I always enjoy.

Oh hurf-a-durf, forgot to PM you. Off the top of my head, Batman is the only one on that list that applies to. Since Batman requires you to register the cd-key to a GFWL account in order to save the game (holy shit I can never say how much I hate GFWL) you'd have to give them the info of that account. Troublesome, if you have other GFWL stuff attached to it. In other words, Batman really isn't on the table.

This sounds a lot like what uh. . .oh damn, what's the game that Bethesda/Arkane are putting out? Deus Ex Renaissance? Something. Looking forward to that.

I'd be happy to take Call of Cthuhlu off your hands if you're so inclined to dispose of it.

I quite like Boxcutter, juvenal! Glad to hear other people express the same. Also in recent personal discoveries; ROwH8ZEST1U

That Goofy Movie one rips at my sanity.

I knew there was a reason I liked Rodi.

Isn't that every GTA story? Hence why they're shit? Which I was under the impression we discussed some months ago?

I was about to clap slowly for you TP, for not being caught up in this, but I am disappointed. This is the only game in a while that I have had absolutely zero interest in. Hell, I'm still watching TOR from the sidelines, even if I don't intend to play it. Unless they make some major changes to the formulae, I'll be avoiding it for the same reasons I'm avoiding MW3.

My primary complaint with iTunes is the "buy once, download once, fuck off" system. I haven't bought anything from them in a couple years, so that could have changed but I doubt it.
