  1. The threat of Big Dog

The nub hand is for cracking the spine of a patient who is too far gone. Mercy, or so they say.
  2. 2012

    Yeeeeeesssss.
  3. Movie/TV recommendations

Sherlock was actually my first introduction to Cumberbatch, so my view on his appearance is naturally a bit twisted.
  4. Recently completed video games

I've... never had any of those problems.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy  It's frightening to me how much you can change someones appearance with a few tweaks. It took me a while to realize that was in fact Cumberbatch and I wasn't going crazy. It also possesses the fastest "Time to Jonh Hurt's Death" I have ever seen. People really like killing him. I won't spoil anything for the moment until other people see it. It's rather slow, but I think that quite serves it. And damn, what a cast.
  6. Modern Warfare 3 PC

I've got it. It's MW2.5 so I don't hate it, especially since I got it for free. Just be aware that I will be the gimmicky jerk. (Shield, throwing knives and a SMAW in Domination, for instance.) In other words, yeah, I'm up for it.

You just like to be contrary.
  8. GTA V

Like I said when Thompson showed me it, it's still shit!
  9. Movie/TV recommendations

I dunno, I think it's sexist because people want it to be sexist, but what the hell do I know, I prefer to stay out of these shitstorms.
  10. Movie/TV recommendations

    Holy heck, Sherlock was good.
  11. Movie/TV recommendations

Woah, woah, Sherlock is back? Sign me the hell up. I loved the first series. Also, I hadn't noticed El Muerte's earlier... colorful post. Are we sure he's not a troll?
  12. V The Elder Scrolls

I hardly notice the carpet when I'm playing anyway, but I seemingly have a more pressing matter, in which any mist/fog or directed light rays cause me to see a transparent after image. So once I get that taken care of, we'll see how I feel about the bloody carpet.
  13. Books, books, books...

So, Ringworld. Yeah. Hmm. I'm not entirely sure what to say on it. I really liked it, no doubt there. It was certainly interesting. But I'm not sure there's much I would want to discuss about it. I'd certainly recommend it, if you're into sci-fi, and for some reason haven't read it. But I'm not really sure how to describe or discuss it. I've got the entirety of Known Space on tap, so maybe I'll be back with some more coherant thoughts when I've read more of the universe. It's just sort of disquieting to me that this is the first book I've ever read that I've just thought "Yep, that was a book" No emotions one way or the other, just want to read the next part. Maybe that's a good thing?
  14. V The Elder Scrolls

Fair enough, I just wanted to yell at you.
  15. V The Elder Scrolls

http://static.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/607-3-1322170188.jpg Sno, do you have Steam, and if so, what is your friends addable name?
  16. V The Elder Scrolls

Welp. I've begun that dark road, chaps. That twisted, curvy road of modding Elder Scrolls games. Just to give you an idea, from the somewhat limited (yet surprisingly robust) category of available mods; - Enhanced Night Sky - Enhanced Blood Textures - Lush Trees & Lush Grass - Enhanced Flora and Fauna - Skyrim HD - SkyUI - Real Water Textures - Enhanced NPC Clothes - And of course, our dark master, Skyrim Script Extender. I put 60 hours into Skyrim when it came out, almost 10 of those without sound before I had the brainwave to go into the BIOS and force non-HDMI sound. I loved it. So do I need these mods? No. But godsdamnit, I refuse to revisit the later years of Oblivions existence in which I spent six to eight hours every couple of months installing mods and then never playing the godsdamned thing.

Apparently Valve ran out of free gifts (they had something on the order of 3 million) and now you can't get anything but Valve coupons, because naturally they have plenty of those.
  18. Mass Effect 3

    Eurgh...
  19. The threat of Big Dog

I'm more concerned that her eyeballs seem to be socketed independently of her skull.
  20. Movie/TV recommendations

Uh... first result on Google... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1946421/ It's on Netflix, if you have that.
  21. Movie/TV recommendations

Haha, I hate Generations. It's terrible.

No El Muerte, this is just fantasy. I just finished The Captains on the sorta-kinda-not recommendation of the Giant Bomb crew. A few weeks ago they talked briefly about how the all had to stop watching it because Kirk talking to Picard broke their brains. And it does! It's really sort of weird. It's also kind of "raw" and a really interesting watch. If you have any interest in the people behind the captains, I'd really recommend it.

Still hilariously low. A bunch of people (read: assholes) abused the latest Humble Bundle in order to accumulate mountains of coal. Not that anyone had any real chance in the first place.
  24. Making the Game Your Own

It's weird, I actually imagined while playing Assassin's Creed 1, what it would be like if all these rooftop guards were players, as opposed to idiotic AI. Unfortunately, now knowing that 90% of the people who play AC multiplayer are imbeciles who sprint around killing people for tiny sums of points, that dream is a bit sour for me.

Oh, hmm. I'd be interested in taking Achron off your hands for my own use, but I've not got much to offer. Guess I'll get a couple of achievements done and let you know.
