  1. Tribes: Ascend

It's basically friends list and joining on friends at this point. I'll add you next I'm playing.
  2. You're like some kind of aural Mussolini, brkl. I mean really. Re: Breckoncast, I just couldn't get through it. I'm not sure what made me recoil in abject confusion, but I had to shut it off.
  3. (If you're still confused I cannot help you.)
  4. Journey (thatgamecompany's next thing)

Quit it. I wouldn't mind a PC version of this, even after playing the beta on PS3.
  5. Unnecessary Comical Picture Thread

Why would you keep this anywhere near children?
  6. Assassin's Creed: Mohawk

Yeah, it was a solid century between the Revolution and the Civil War. During the Revolution, New York occupied a small area of the Manhatten. The city you see in Gangs of New York is considerably larger and more developed.
  7. Tribes: Ascend

    I'm still playing near-daily.
  8. Assassin's Creed: Mohawk

    Considerably later.
  9. Assassin's Creed: Mohawk

A considerable number. While smaller colonies were mostly log buildings, places like Philadelphia, New York and Boston (our most likely locales city-wise) all had three and four story brick and mortar buildings in decent abundance. Keep in mind that, while they were fighting for independence from England, a large majority of the colonists at the time were still spoke like and sounded like the people they so hated. Their architectural style was also still heavily influenced by London. Of course, this being Assassins Creed everyone is just going to speak perfectly unaccented American English.
  10. Starbreeze's Syndicate

I don't really intend to play the game, but this commercial almost made me. I know dubstep in trailers is a sin, but I thought they fit it to the video really well. mq3SwmGqEsk
  11. Life

Your picture is whack mad broken, sir.
  12. The threat of Big Dog

Call me a traditionalist, but I was expecting The Imperial March for our new global transunity song.
  13. Sim City V

Look, I'm not out-of-hand dismissing Sim City V because it's EA. I just think the enormous potential for it to be microtransactioned to shit is possible because it's EA. If I turn out to be wrong, fantastic! I'll play it to death. But I'll keep my worry, thanks.
  14. Sim City V

Well I mean, they're not UbiSoft with their terrible DRM that actively prevents you from playing the game. Or Activision who repackages the exact same game with two new features for more money. But their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and they seem to be heading in Activisions direction. Don't get me wrong, they're not overtly and universally reviled like they were a few years ago, but they're still an industry giant, and that means doing sometimes shitty things to make a lot of money.
  15. Sim City V

Because while ensconced in their greedy maw are a great many creative and talented people, as a corporate enterprise they're, by and large, passive-aggressively hostile towards their customers. Which seems to video game corporation policy these days.
  16. Can you trust the "Can You Run It?" site?

Now are we talking earthquakes or alien civilizations?
  17. Wizaaaaaards!!

I... look, I don't know anything about Batman!
  18. Wizaaaaaards!!

I fail to see the inherent wizardly relation.
  19. Street Fighter and Sexual Harrassment.

    Third-person schizophrenia?
  20. Can you trust the "Can You Run It?" site?

My graphics card apparently. And my apologies, it's 3.8. (Note that all other components are anywhere from 7.3-7.9 with the exception of my harddisk, which is a 5.9) Apparently Gaming Graphics and WINDOWS DESKTOP GRAPHICS are calculated seperately. Guess which one is 3.8. Fuck off, Windows.
  21. Street Fighter and Sexual Harrassment.

I'm third dan in trolling. Fuck this guy, whoever he is.
  22. Can you trust the "Can You Run It?" site?

Here's an example that might explain this. A friend of mines computer is rated at 5.7 by Windows. Mine is rated 3.4 Guess which one of us can't run Crysis 2 at max without his computer turning to molten slag?
  23. DOTA 2

DotA 2 VOIP is high quality source VOIP. In other words, if you have a decent mic and you're not an asthmatic twelve-year old screaming into it, it's perfectly fine.
  24. Faster Than Likely

FTL is a game I've been sort of not-following for a while now, in that PCG and RPS have both said a couple things about it a while back, but not a damn thing since. Well suddenly, it lives! It's a rogue-like, in space. Specifically you control nearly every function of a starship and its meager crew as you try to reach the exit of the solar system, you rebel scum you. RPSes Latest Bit O' Words Their Kickstarter (Stop taking my money, worthy indie projects!) And finally, while that Kickstarter beta is a bit off yet, if you have an OnLive account (or don't oppose to a tiny client download and registration) you can play a 30 minute demo of it as many times as you like on their service.
