The Idle Thumbs Lords Management Consortium - Dota 2, LoL, other Lords Managers unite

It's also terrible and no-one plays it! Which is a shame, 'cause it's quite cool. -
The first Twilight movie has started appearing on TV in the last month or so. I actually passed over it one night and watched it for about twenty minutes. It's odd, because the movie is actually really well filmed and directed, and it looks really good. It's stunningly filmed. The dialogue and acting however, are as bad as Twig has said and you may have heard.

Jury duty: On one hand, the dullest six dollars I have ever made. On the other, I finished Brandon Sanderson's The Way of Kings which you should all really quite read.

Ores only appear below a certain Y depth. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Ore The important bit is that for redstone and diamond you want to be, as Purple said, below Y=12. As for "advanced mining techniques", just do this. | | | | | --------- | | | | | Dig a tunnel 3 tall, 1 wide and say 20-40 long. If nothing, move right/left three spaces, repeat. -

I'd ask if we could reset my match, since I FORGOT TO BUY REROLLS, but I wouldn't want to take away from Koala's commanding 3-0 win. -
Keep in mind the reason I call her Krob(elus) is the same reason I was confused for a moment reading your post. Nature's Prophet is also in the game, and the more frequent use of Prophet. "She? What? The dude clearly has weird facial hair and horns..."

Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server

I think at this point people are playing the way they want to. I haven't given up my spawn commands and would really rather not, simply because Minecraft as a game holds no interest for me any more. If creative mode hadn't come along late last year to simply allow me to build megastructures all day, I'd have stopped playing by now. Minecraft as an institution is what keeps my interest. I believe Doug feels the same way. As for super-powerful equipment, I gave Thompson a set of diamond tools for his enormous help on the tree, and one night when everyone was dying a ton I passed out diamond swords to... 6? people. Everything else is legitimately created to my knowledge. Diamonds really aren't terribly hard to find with certain mining practices. -

It's apparently NinjaKoala. I added him on Steam but he's yet to get back on. E: Well, he got on for ten seconds and added me and logged back off. -
I didn't want to imply she was overpowered. No-one in DotA is really overpowered. But you can get away with a lot of shit in dark times with people like Krobelus, Dazzle and others.

The Legend of Korra has dispensed (mostly) with the "Adventure of Kids" idea of the original Avatar series, and is so far pretty cool. I really, really liked the idea of Kung-fu wizard ninjas but hated the main character and companions, and now it's even a steampunk 1920s type of thing.

It was basically just a metal Mr. Crabs from Spongebob. Hence its swift removal.

I've had a lot of easy kills from people that don't realize the range of her ghosts/how they work exactly. She's pretty great.

Who on earth is Avatar111? He doesn't seem to be in the Steam group. -
I'm pretty sure you're the crazy one, but I'd be happy to be corrected. I submit as evidence Starship Troopers 2 & 3, The Tit Wars.

I swear that exact hill is in FC2 with a cell tower on it. NW-ish top-ish area of the first map.

Yeah but at least you live in "nice" Texas. Nice being a euphemism for not-the-rest-of-Texas. I guess Houston isn't terrible.

NO WIZARD HE. PYba10jV9gU The whole thing is just awkward and weird, but what really got a reaction from IRC were; 29 minutes: One of their huge announcements is Witcher 1 for Mac. Not a bad thing, but it was a bulletpoint for the conference. 32 minutes: A Witcher iOS interactive comic book. Undress women with your touch screen! ~35 minutes: The huge announcement for people who love the Witcher 2? A free GOG backup copy! Already got it on GOG (like 50% of the purchases of Witcher 2)? Tough shit. 39 minutes on: The jauntiest motherfucker. 39:40: We're not Good Old Games anymore, just GOG! ~43 minutes: Indie games! Not a bad thing, but questionable considering their original mission statements. ~45 minutes: "Premium Editions" for 20 bucks. Now, however you feel about GOG, this is pretty bullshit. Yeah, the extra goodies are cool, but you can get these two games on Steam fairly regularly for 5 bucks. And again, their original mission statement (6/10 buck old games) completely gone. And of course, the ultimate GOG announcement of this press conference, Fallout 1 free for 48 hours. Don't get me wrong, please, I really like GOG, but they make some really stupid decisions/announcements.

I guess it would be more fair to say they have terrible PR rather than marketing.

Tanu, you've never watched a GOG/CDRed press conference have you? They are absolute train wrecks, the kind you like to get popcorn for and watch in slow motion. I was in the SA GOG IRC a couple weeks ago when they did their last one and it was just constant ridicule. Don't get me wrong, I really like GOG, have given them a (relative) ton of money to be able to keep my roses tinted glasses well oiled, but they are bad, so very bad at marketing. If Amanita is the bad guy here, sure, fine, whatever. Shit happens. Wires get crossed. But don't count GOG out as being at fault here just yet.
