It does when clicked into its own loading window, interestingly enough.

I really hope it's possible to just pass by the "story" like FC2 and just roam around a jungle blasting shit.

You guys need to cast in maximal comfort.

The Idle Thumbs Lords Management Consortium - Dota 2, LoL, other Lords Managers unite
Orv replied to Sean's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Doom was the wrooooooong choice. Admittedly I picked before Clinkz and Gondar (BH) were on the board, but oh man. Though the occasional vindictive "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" was fun. -
You have no idea how right you are. Make a list of your five favorite characters. I can guarantee you, sight unseen, three of them will be dead.

I actually had a fairly long stint of SC2 for a while, contrary to my opinions expressed... man, a year and a half ago now, and enjoyed it reasonably well. I didn't stick with it though, because I found a different problem with SC2 in that at a certain level it becomes too mechanical and spreadsheet. But I enjoyed what I played of it, and have been considering going back, especially since a couple friends are on the warpath to get me to be the Zerg to their 'toss in 3v3. And with the negation of an MMO in my daily gaming routine, I need something to just pop on and play a few minutes of, and a match-made RTS fits the bill nicely.

I also, as I may have discussed before, watch cinema/TV for actors, rather than whatever vehicle they're using (story, cinematography, what have you), so when the guy is, as mentioned, writing everything he does and it's not funny (to me!) it reflects poorly on him. My preference, actor over movie, is why I enjoy B movies so much, because over-acting is just fantastic. It's why I love Nic Cage as much as I do, despite more or less 90% of his movies being actual dross, it's fun to watch him act. Give me a show/movie with Jeremy Irons in it, and I practically don't care what it is or who else is in it, but if it also turns out to be great, that's fantastic.

This Was really my first hint (I hadn't bothered before, having only seen his movies and not really caring much beyond that) that Will Ferrell was something other than his persona in his films, which is something I admittedly have trouble with. You put on that face and it's my first impression of you, and I have a hard time shaking it. But that Man Vs Wild special really made me rethink him, at least. It's a real shame, because he has done a couple good movies (I adore Stranger Than Fiction), but I don't know what's making him take all these titles like Taladega Nights and Step Brothers, but there it is. At least Jim Carrey is still funny, right?

The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

Their plan is to launch the podcast and the bookcast into your face at the same time. -
I have the same problem re: Jackass and Johnny Knoxville as I have with Will Farrel. Smart guys doing really unfunny/stupid things. Though I'll admit Jackass has grown on me over the years, fearful a thought as that may be.

Your quotes are in a completely separate post from your replies.

It's the whole, quote, then a totally separate post for the reply thing. It's odd, though not particularly detrimental. Not even sure why it would do that, honestly. Weird phone.

He's Covetous Shen, the gem guy. It took me a while to pick up on Keating being the Templar, because it sounds nothing like his voice on ST:E, that I even had to check IMDB to be sure. But yeah, it's him, with whatever odd affectation he's using.
-
Are you implying there are good time travel episodes of Star Trek? It's odd you should mention Star Trek, since the Templar is voiced by the Chief of Operations/Security from ST:Enterprise.
-
Sorry, let me be more specific. SBC as a person may be as intelligent as they come, I couldn't say. His movies aren't funny, which leads me to believe he isn't funny or intelligent either. Then again, Will Farrel does terrible movies on a regular basis and is a great guy, so who can say. E: Me and Elmuerte agreeing seems like a dangerous thing for the continuity of the universe.
-
Sorry, did you think his other movies were funny? The man is an imbecile.

101F is 313 Kelvin. Science wins again!

At least embarrassing teen poetry has a (if minimal) chance of making sense at some point. Blizzard on the other hand...

The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

Don't worry, we'll all be radioactive ash before that has a chance of happening. (In actually contributing to the discussion, currently reading the book.) -
Huh, alright, going to have to pick that up. I've been on one of those kicks, recently. Those ones where nothing is what you want to listen to, but it's all good. Mostly this, though. (What in the everlovingchristexpletive is this two video limit? And [url= tags with youtube videos?)

101F is actually higher than 299 Kelvin. Science!

Oh man, what a terrible story Aeon Flux has.
