You get XP in WvW for people that get finished that you assisted in enough.

I've won every time I've been invaded on PC, which totals seven times. I've had considerably more failed invasions where the fog doors go up and the invasion never connects properly. I've had decent success connecting in the Forest though, on either side of the equation.

I figured out what I didn't like. It tried to capture the fun qualities of the first two (weird alien stuff and good Smith/Jones chemistry) while interjecting a too-compressed plot that bounces around and never makes you care. II is still probably the best.

Not sure how I feel about MIB3. I think I didn't like it.

A USB wired 360 controller will run you about 30 bucks, a wire Logitech gamepad might run you a bit less.

Denravi has 4chan and the (TMK) games only mega-alliance of five guilds on it, so they never lack for people. Hopefully their matchmaking algorithm gets worked out before I lose all want to play WvW.

M&KB was never intended to be used, they just put it in there because they wanted to a least have a bit of PC specific stuff in here, other than early DLC. This game should never be played with anything but a controller, the port is fine*. *Considering that this is the first time From has ever done anything PC related, the community urged them to get it out as soon as possible, and the excellent sales mean they'll probably make the next Souls game (or whatever they make) for PC from the get-go, the port could be a lot worse. The community is also working on fixing the mouse lock bug, if you're crazy enough to play it with M&KB.

I couldn't really comment as to launch XP curves, since all I've done is the occasional WvW. Haven't really felt the urge to play much GW at all yet.

One of the big flaws of GW2 is that it's not obvious that you need to be doing the full breadth of things available in the game to level at a rapid pace. Exploring everything, hearts, story quests and crafting all give large amounts of XP. You're missing crafting, it seems, which is an enormous chunk of XP.

The issue is that most non-pros like to consider heroes "good/bad" based on professional comp picks, when none of them will ever play at that level. Don't listen to most of it.

The profusion of outright terrible shit/things that shouldn't even be there because they aren't even playable yet is incredible. Not surprising in any way, but disgusting.

So this is quite good, depending on your feelings for folk rock/blues, but the rest of their stuff is sadly nothing like it.

Did no-one realize they're basically just taking JCVD's career and making it into a single movie? This was intentional, right?

I'm always confused when people say things like "Awww, Mouz is doing poorly." They do poorly like 85% of the time, and get outclassed consistently. They're fun to watch, but how they got as far as they have is weird to me. Maybe I'm just always catching their 'off' games.

The shield got nerfed very, very hard in .05, so now it's just an interesting toy/PvP gimmick rather than a threshing machine. The issue was that it scaled off the damage of your right handed weapon, and then that damage scaled off the stat scaling. So you'd basically be doing the damage of a Chaos +5 weapon at 99 Humanity and ridiculous shit like that. It's now fixed, sadly, along with degrading much, much quicker. The thing with the True Greatsword is that it is a hilariously good weapon... if you have all of your stats at 40. And it requires across the board stat investment to even wield. A build that is built specifically to use and take advantage of the pretty generous scaling on the weapon can do some pretty crazy things, but it's not something you'll use in a regular/non-focused run. You can now even make a third version of that damned sword with a greatsword now. As for bows I always build every character I make to at least 20/20/-/- so I can use the Dragonslayer Bow, and now in the DLC Gough drops his bow, which is an 85 damage bow with a B/C/-/- scaling ( ) that works on the same special arrows principle as the Dragonslayer. The arrows are 650 a piece, but they are insane.

Aside from what I'm about to do shortly with the Iron Golem soul for my Dragonbone Gauntlet, I've only ever made the Lifehunt Scythe. Which goddamn, I love that weapon, I really do, but nothing else interests me from boss souls. Most amusing to me is the Moonlight Butterfly soul that gives a pitiful 1.5K souls, or turns into a mediocre catalyst or an INT spear. E: Oh no, sorry, it makes a terrible shitty shit shield.
