So I went in on this, because frankly as much as I love other kinds of games, management sims are what got me into gaming and I will never get tired of them. Watching the story play out as you see an inmate grab a knife from the cantina, wondering whether to have him searched or not and then letting it reach its conclusion is pretty great.

Pandemic could work if it runs quickly enough. I'd say Ticket to Ride, honestly. I was mostly joking about Arkham Horror because it's the sort of game where the mechanics create the atmosphere rather than it being a good story device or anything like that, so you have to be crazy to appreciate it.

Well, I've been keeping a closer eye on Dishonored's dev video series since I posted that last link, and went ahead and prepurchased. I didn't go for the Best Buy thing, as great as that lamp would be, but I'm expecting good things here. After a summer of heavy action games and deep strategy like Endless Space and Dark Souls, it'll be nice to have another RPG to sink my teeth into. Also they have Brad Dourif so I really had no choice.

Ask if they have Arkham Horror. If yes, flee.
