More specifically it's not a Big Stompy Robot game. It's very much a fast FPS with mech trappings, which I think makes it disingenuous to call it a mech game.
-
Just so we're clear, Hawken isn't a mech game. It's Quake that happens to take place in rather sizeable robots.

Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube

Now you're just being racist. (Is joke!) -
They're making Red Dawn with Channing Tatum and without Russians, why not murder everything else great about cinema of the period?
-
You need two surviving crewmembers to pull you onboard the escaping Normandy. If you have just one it's all tears in the rain.

Hey, welcome to the hidden feature of the endgame of Mass Effect 2! Slight spoilers will follow, however if you don't want everyone you've come to love over the past 15-25 hours to die, listen up! *Bing Bong* Right, so. You need a total of 45K Palladium for no-one to die on the run-up to the final mission. You need to buy Multicore Shielding, Heavy Ship Armor and the Thanix Cannon. When you hit the mission itself, you have three breakpoints where you get to make several "Who gets to die today" choices at each point. Since you mentioned everyone is loyal I'll just give you who you can choose for each point. Choice 1; Infiltration Technician: Tali, Legion, Kasumi Fireteam Lead: Garrus, Jacob, Miranda Choice 2; The Long Walk Biotic Specialist: Samara (or Morinth, depending on your choices obv.) or Jack Fireteam Lead: Garrus, Jacob, Miranda Escort: Mordin (This is the only thing you should choose Mordin for.) Heeere's the kicker. For the final boss fight, you get to choose who holds the line. There's a behind the scenes tabulation of their total "Defensive Rating" from among who you pick to go with you and who stays. So you need to pick good fighters, not good biotics or good techs. Which means you have to cull your choices in stage one and two so no-one dies behind you, and you have a team who can fight the boss. I'd recommend this final choice lineup. (Depending on DLC availability) Tech: Tali/Kasumi Fireteam 1: Miranda Biotic: Jack Fireteam 2: Jacob Escort: Mordin Final Boss Team: Tali/Kasumi, Garrus/Samara

While the side quests aren't necessary, a fuckton of planet scanning is if you want all your people to survive the endgame.

It's still running on the core framework of Empire, which is dull as paint musketoon battles. Obviously TETI, but gah. I guess the campaign driven nature of Napoleon could to. As for specs for Rome 2/Shogun 2, I kind of doubt that there won't be a pretty major jump for Rome 2. If nothing else it'll take twelve hours to load the main menu.
-
Even as much as I love the original Shogun, Rome is hands down the best game in the series and Rome 2 looks like it's going to be incredible. Like where did those last 18 hours go, incredible.
-
While I'd normally agree, dollars to donuts his Book can't run Rome 2. Also an entire six months!
-
Napoleon is a terrible recommendation to start the Total War series with. Rome is the right answer.

I feel it's not hyperbole when I say that you would share the same circle of hell as Pavlov if you did that to XCOM.

MaK: Sandbox/Action Hybrid + Relative Gravity & Building

I will give you money if you allow me to play with your bits. Deal or no deal. -
It varies. Usually if I'm civil and chipper people start using their mics if they have them, or typing back. On other occasions I get yelled at in monosyllabic not-quite-English. It's a crapshoot, but it's worth it for that one game where everyone is nice and relaxed, just chatting away win or lose.

I do enjoy some Rachel Maddow. Less of a fan of the comments on that video. -
That is pretty darn great.

That's way too many words for an angry woman none of us find particularly funny, or edifying. Sorry we don't get it.

The only way this is successful (for me) is if the secret is taken to the winners grave. E: Alternate option; Skynet.

They're both MadTV old guard, when it was at least humorous on occasion. Done a ton of stuff before that as well. -

I still can't decide if I like Key and Peele, but I'm pretty sure I love it.
