And if not, even if they aren't used for sex, the blanks in Dollhouse technically qualify as prostitutes, as their bodies are being sold/used, simply with the mind transferred. Two series! Somewhere in the comparison between Jane and Cal, Jane tricks Cal out a window where he falls to his death. I prefer The Mentalist, but I might have to give Lie to Me another try. It just. . .dunno. Really don't like Cal. The character is very much a perfect bastard.

While I did not overly enjoy "Heart of Gold" I didn't hate it. I did hate the way it sort of seemed Joss went "Well. . .we're in the Space Wild West. . .WHERE ARE MY PROSTITUTES AND WHY DON'T THEY LOVE MALCOM?!" So yeah, not my favorite, by any means. In fact, probably my least favorite I still moderately enjoy. I was referring to, I believe "Air" is the name, in which he has a bunch of flashbacks whilst trying to fix the ship. Something about the episode just. . .eugh. Edit: I am stupid and have a poor memory. The episode is called "Out of Gas". And upon further examination, maybe I like the character of Mal so much I just don't like watching him slowly die. I don't know, but I hate the episode. (Which would be odd, since I'm normally not overly squemish.) I like The Mentalist! I also like it's sort-of-competitor, Lie To Me, though not nearly as much. You sort of sort of zoned in on why I like(/d) Monk and Psych though, that being the sort of mind/matter aspects. Still hating FOX. Oh. Also. With the new season very close, I recommend you all go catch up on White Collar. Do it.

Game iiiiiiis a-runnin'.

Half way into S2 of the SCC I despise FOX with every fibre of my being. Imbeciles. Still debating whether to give Dollhouse another try, since Netflix has Psych, Monk and a bunch of other excellent shows that I know I like just sitting there. Ah well, I didn't love all of Angel, and there's even an episode of Firefly I don't like, so I guess I'll give it three episodes to win me over. (3 episodes after the first 5, mind you.)

I was unaware! I might give it a chance, because there were elements I really enjoyed. (Topher, Alpha [mainly the actor ], whoever the bodyguard for Eliza Dushku was) But it was just. . .gods, it was so bad for the first few episodes. So very. . .very bad. . .

So I just finished season 1 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I don't know if I've said this before, but I really, really hate FOX Entertainment. First Firefly, now this show which is actually not bad at all, despite some of the things I heard. I mean really, this gets cut and Dollhouse gets a third season? :(:(:(:(:(:(:( Fah. (That is a recommendation, yes.)

So fuck Zeno Clash. I really enjoy games with a good/satisfying first person melee combat system. Zeno Clash possesses just that thing. Up to the point of the South Gate Gang. The 2v1 and the small bit of 1v1 aren't a problem. What is a problem is that, if you shoot these guys, they drop their weapon. Which causes them to charge you, and punch you, making you lose your weapon. Not a problem so far in the game. However, all three of these guys possess super-fast reverses/counter-attacks if you try to heavy attack them while they have a weapon or in close combat. (Every attack I made against the red haired guy with him holding the dual pistols resulted in a super-fast, unblockable pistol whipping.) Which means, you shoot into them with the grenade launcher, and you get pinned into a corner by three guys who counter-attack so quickly you can't get any swings in. Fuck you, game. After the fact P.S. - I just remembered about ZC being on Hard mode by default, so I may try lowering the difficulty, but that fight still enrages me greatly.

Not in the slightest frustrating if you've got an IQ over 5 (or the ability to know how time works if you do). Non-spoiler answer to scary: How do you handle stress? (The spoiler answer isn't horribly spoilery, but it will ruin a bit of the moment.)

Er. . .have you reached the Scarecrow bits yet? (I can't really tell from 85%, as it's been a long time since I've played, so I just have experiences, not a distinct memory of X at Y time.) It pretty much remains awesome through-out, to me.

For 3 dollars (or whatever euros/pounds/fruitcakes) I cannot recommend Hegemony enough. The best way I've figured out to describe it is Sins of a Solar Empire in ancient Greece. And that doesn't begin to cover it. It currently only has the campaign in which you play Macedon, but sandbox mode is coming in a free update, along with several other things.

They added the games from HIB1 if you donated over 7 bucks, so yeah.

Still, it shuts the kids up for a few minutes, which is the point of the thing. Works for me.

Thanks to the wonderful television program that is Psych, I have a new one to frighten youngsters with; The Dutch Santa Claus takes all the children on the Naughty List away to be slaves and deliver toys for the good children. Good ol' Lassie.

I'm fine with that. The others here (here being in my house) will have company over, but I can blame my misanthropy for not partaking of the festivities. Strike the earth!

Well I went back and returned it and got a 2TB Seagate GoFlex Desk, which has worked flawlessly since I got it. It's not the fastest thing ever, but it won't impede Steam (which I what I got the thing for. I've been living like a godsdamned magpie for the last couple years. Installing and uninstalling games because of limited HDD space, every day or two.) So I'm pretty happy. Didn't even have to spend an actual penny. My Best Buy card that they gave me when I returned the Toshiba has 1 cent left.

The 1TB Toshiba HD I bought cycles the power on itself every 35 minutes without fail, regardless of what I do. (I've tried the official fix, it can't find the HD, I've tried third-party stuff, no dice.) So I'm pretty godsdamned livid and get to go spend more money tomorrow, hopefully less if they let me return it.

Keep in mind I'm the kind of person that loves being tortured by horrendous voice acting in video games. Uh. . .This. I enjoy really horrible things, for some reason. I wouldn't call myself a masochist, but I find things like that hilarious. (I may be crazy.)
