Can't you see you're tearing us apart?! In the. . .YouTube videos thread. . .no less. . . Thompson, I'm afraid Kingz has you on this one. Kingz, stop fucking turning my nightmares into reality. I like being oblivious to the fact that I live in the ritziest political shithole this side of the Middle East. Nachimir's comment actually had a nice long roll around in the cesspit of my brain while I got to sit in the dark and cold today. Yeah, funny that, I'd rather not think about having what amounts to a civil uprising and horrible shit. Weird how my mind works, I know. I don't necessarily want to put a damper on the conversation, it's interesting, and in ways, enlightening, but. . .well. You sound like a not-crazy, intelligent Glen Beck, Kingz. Which is as much of a compliment as it can be. Maybe tone it down a tad?

The only inconvenience to me has been the blackouts, during which I've FINALLY finished rereading the New Earth series of Star Trek books. And the cold is, meh! Having stayed in Siberia for three months, it's not a huge bother. I do get amused by the weather anchor being nice and toasty inside in a suit, while all the other anchors are out in three coats freezing to death. Hehehe.

Done by Epic Games, actually. And it's rather distressing to realize it's true. . .

So, last I checked, I live in El Paso Texas, a city in a state that gets, on average, less three feet of snowfall a year. In the past couple days we've gone below zero multiple times. As a result, all eight of the local power generators, have iced up. Firstly, what the fuck, city. Just because it's gone below 50 doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Abnormal, yes, but not "YA'LL GONNA DIE" type stuff. Second, because of this, we're now receiving all our power from either; A. The nuclear plant in Arizona B. The free market Which means we've had rolling blackouts all day, to conserve power. Which means when the first one happened, I lost 5 hours of progress on my Dragon Age game, and it fried the SD card on my Nook. I am not amused, world!

I didn't get that far, but the line "I'm an American, we don't have czars" with a straight face. . . I'm going to go cry now. Cry for liberty and apple pie. I stopped caring about baseball years ago.

I'm feeling conflicted about these current HD collections

And of course we won't be getting those on PC, even though Pandora Tomorrow essentially doesn't exist on PC anymore. Jackasses. -

I am generally against bodily harming the female sex in any way, but the older lady at :28 made me reconsider this for a short moment, as she spoke of Sarah Palin being "freedom and justice". Though upon watching further, none of her fans are any smarter than she is. Which is. . .some sort of small comfort.

MW:LL now requires Wars, so, yes? Honestly, the base Crysis game play is, well. . .the shooting mechanics are rather shit. I'd go with your godmode idea just to see the shiny stuff. But yeah, if you like MechWarrior, at all, Crysis Wars + MechWarrior Living Legends is a good way to slough a few hours off your life. (A few hundred.)

Just get MechWarrior Legends and forget the base game even exists. Problem solved.

Chunk errors. Still to be patched. I get them on every server now, so it's not simply a Thumblandia problem. -
Not really, no. It's definitely a good break from the sameness that L&O and CSI have fallen into over the years.

Someone beat the netcode when it was a baby. That's really the depth of our experience tonight. Bring on dem patches.

I get to just before Gibson's question "Do you agree with the Bush doctrine" before I start vomiting brain matter and IQ. I generally find politics insane because of the average politicians ability to skirt answering a question by throwing up all the current rhetoric (be it "we need more unity" or "we need less x") but she's just flat out. . . I want to be nice but the woman is an idiot.

Mildly unrelated: Unmodified, Morrowind via Steam is about 1.2GB. My folder currently sits at 7.3GB. There might be something wrong with me.

Uh. Hmmm. It's not bad! It's actually pretty interesting and engaging for the first season or so. Jeri Ryan as an actor and not a godsdamned emotionless cyborg is interesting. William Shatner is not actually a bad actor, for the most part. I guess it kind of depends on how you intend to partake of the media. Buy it? Netflix? Etc?

Chris, that's not a sentiment I'd ever thought I'd hear someone share, to be honest. It's always been "eh, he's okay" when people don't like Whedon, or at worst "whatever". Huh. Each their own, etc. And yeah, I guess Brad Pitt is a good actor. I tend to forget it's actually him playing those roles (despite being more of an actor lover than a movie lover) and just enjoy the character. And then I watch Troy again. Ah well. Enlightening day.
-
Hmm, I can see that. Fair enough. Though I still think most of Firefly is fantastic in the character interaction department. Others. . .well, it varies greatly. Either way, Brad Pitt being a good actor wouldn't be a half bad thing. . . .

Mind = Blown. Why so, Remo?

I oddly haven't had a ton of errors. No connection/authentication errors at all, but I have had a few permanent black screens and a freeze or two, but that's about it. Squid, Hermie, and whoever else would like to come along, shout at me this weekend on Steam. We need to laser some faces.

Anyone have this here in Thumbville? I'm on a co-op kick recently and I really like to try to get further involved in this game.
