  1. I noticed that tunnel and wondered who had done it. I agree with Jake, a train must be fashioned to cruise those subterranean tunnels
  2. I would site the 1909 Connecticut Supreme Court case of Hoxie v. The New Haven Railroad, in which presidence was established and determined a brakeman cannot sue his employer for compensation if a leg is lost in the line of duty. Jennoa Holdings Intl., absolves itself of any fault in this matter.
  3. Man, you contractors. You know your work would be getting less as you go down right?
  4. hmm, well if it's going to be a half-sphere and I think the dome is 89 tiles across. It will need to be 44 or 45 layers deep. Here, this image will give you an idea of what it will probably need to be like. just focus on everything after the yellow square.
  5. So I've finally come up with an idea on what to do with my massive dome. Unfortunately I am busy with work, so It'll take me years if I try and do it on my own. Now Hiring Contractors for: - Hollowing the base into a lower hemisphere. - finish creating a water wall around the outer perimeter. Future Work: - Construct wooden building outside of one of the walls to allow entry. - build cobble stone archway connecting entry way and interior - Once lower hemisphere constructed construct glass flooring. -Grand Central staircase down to bedrock allow access to all floors bellow dome. For now the upper hemisphere will be left alone, I am still considering options for it.
  6. See, now I had heard Shawn was too busy restoring defunct joke web urls. Also, I enjoyed the podcast immensely. It's a shame they only happen once a month.
  7. Civilization World

I threw my name in with your team as well.
  8. That has to be an offline mod right? Right?!
  9. The Giant Circle is me, I've got big plans for that place.
  10. Books, books, books...

    There is no upper limit.
  11. Well, with working paint I can foresee the return of 8-bit sprites dotting the landscape.
  12. Moritorium

Today I announce my intent to halt future purchases of any and all Steam game until such a time that I can control my urge to buy anything on sale. I own 150 games on Steam now. What the hell am I going to do with two copies of Batman: Arkham Asylum?!? Thank God I have that copy of Flora's Fruit Farm though.
  13. Ahh, that would have been nice to have
  14. Books, books, books...

Yeah exactly, the title comes from his insistence on being called "Colonel" initially after he had left office. If nothing else, Edmund's books always hint that one could write a hundred novels about the events in Roosevelt's life, and not be at a lack for content.
  15. Hot Pursuit 2010 PC

Yeah, it's not really a simulation, though the different weights of the cars can effect their handling, and such.
  16. Hot Pursuit 2010 PC

The multiplayer is a lot of fun, and at least for the moment, quite active. I really enjoy hot pursuit mode. Playing as the cop and disabling some guy just before the finish line fills me with glee every time.
  17. Books, books, books...

I've just begun working my way through "Colonel Roosevelt" by Edmund Morris. I'm enjoying it so far, and it really does an amazing job of exposing the manic energy that drove Theodore through the end of his life. If you've read Morris' earlier books, "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" and "Theodore Rex," it's an absolute must read.
  18. Hot Pursuit 2010 PC

jennoa Though the game is still downloading, so I'm not on yet.
  19. Things like that are all done in auto-cad and imported into the game world. Oh, also, the height limits prevent you from creating a 1:1 scale anything really. I remember that my first grand plan was to build the empire state building to scale. But it's 381 meters tall. From bedrock to the ceiling of the world is only 128 meters.
  20. Yeah, very sinister. I've been too busy recently to put in more than a couple minutes a day, and it is killing me.
  21. That looks pretty interesting. I would be OK with it showing up on the server.
  22. Swatch Internet Time: @083.beats
  23. I am back in my native environment now, so I am good to jump in whenever. If we can build a new world tonight, count me in!
