I bought a couple things for a mysterious purpose I'll reveal at a later date.

If anybody sees a game called Baboo, it's probably me. Password is TheWizard. Anyone is welcome to join. I'll probably be on and off all weekend. I also might be in the Idle Thumbs Steam group chat so look there as well.

I think maybe they were waiting until the big update a couple weeks ago because there were a number of other issues with various maps/weapons/balance and they wanted to fix everything all at once, although why it took them this long to fix those problems too I can't say.

Idle Thumbs 115: Robot News
SecretAsianMan replied to Chris's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
The Thumbs do have some of the best dad stories. Sean's surgeon simulator dad story, Chris' Zelda maze dad story, and my all time favorite Steve's Bioshock "That's the same guy!" dad story. Best. -
I find it kind of humorous that while everybody is idling all their games to get cards, Valve has recently updated TF2 to prevent players from abusing the drop system by sitting idle, something that's been going on for literal years.

Ok Microsoft, I admit this is kind of cool. I would like to see things like this integrated into the Xbone.

I'm the same way with the word decimate. -
Oh yeah, I forgot about Runic's account thing. I'm SecretAsianManz over there. Note the z at the end. And yeah, we're Steam friends. We robbed some banks together in Monaco.

Portal 2's co-op mode reminded me in a way of the co-op in 'Splosion Man. Going through it the first time with someone who had also never played it was one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had. Portal 2 is similar in the way you both have to work together to figure out what you're trying to do then how you're supposed to do it. It's such a shame that it can't be repeated to the same satisfaction, but I guess that's what makes it so amazing.

I bought it when it came out but I haven't played in a while and wouldn't mind starting a new character.

I'm also holding onto all the cards I've gotten so far, but not necessarily to sell them later. To be honest, I'm not really sure why I'm hanging onto them. I might sell them if they actually become things of value (I had a pair of Mac earbuds for TF2 for a long time before I discovered they were worth the price of a full game).

Glad to have you aboard Number One.

I cannot believe there is actually a situation where this video is relevant.

Just remember that when he creates an Idle Thumbs account I already have a stake on his name.

I just watched the viscera stream. While I was watching Sean pick up shells, my mind came up with a narrative that you're playing as the person who just killed everyone on a space station and are now cleaning up the evidence to hide your crime.

I had a fever induced dream last night. It was basically Plants Vs Zombies except instead of zombies they were germs and instead of plants they were white blood cells.
-
It's currently 2:30 am and I can't sleep because I have a fever of 100 F (37.8 C). I feel like absolute shit, somebody make it stop.

So I'm curious. I've seen a lot of people on my friends list lately "playing" older games that now have cards. What I'm wondering is how many of them are actually playing the game, or if they start it and do something else while it idles and they get their drops. Has the inclusion of cards actually encouraged anyone to go back and replay a game or is everyone just hitting their drop limit and moving on?

I used to play TF2 with some guys who started gamekrib.com as a kind of Facebook for gamers. I guess it still exists.

I was voting on the next sale and under the text telling me that voting could get me a summer getaway trading card, it says Subject to availability? Is there a limited amount of this purely digital item?
