I really love Metroid and many Metroidvania games, but for some reason Shadow Complex just didn't click with me. I didn't really enjoy a lot of it and several things about it I actively hate. I beat the game and got 100%, but I still don't like it and can't totally explain why. On the other hand, I really loved 'Splosion Man. There are some really cheap and difficult moments, but I loved that feeling of pulling off a string of sweet 'splosions. I thought the co-op mode was really great too. In a way it kind of reminds me of Portal 2, although Portal's puzzles are more of the "stop and think" type while 'Splosion Man's were the "let's just run forward and figure it out as we go" type. I never played Ms. 'Splosion Man but I think that was supposed to be good too.

My physics teacher would always walk around the room and manually wipe the memory on each calculator before the test started. Made it difficult to make progress in calculator games.

I'm considering going to a Best Buy after work and getting a Wii U bundle. The choices are the Wind Waker bundle and a Super Mario Bros U/Super Luigi U bundle. I'll probably go with the Zelda bundle even though I'm not really interested in playing more Zelda at the moment and I don't have the same love for Wind Waker everyone else seems to have.

Replace Minecraft with TF2 and this describes my life.

If you're waiting to play A Link Between Worlds because of any similarities between it and Link to the Past, then you don't really need to wait. The overworld layout is mostly the same and there are references to the older game, but other than that they are extremely different games. However if you're just waiting as a break from Zelda, that I understand.

I had a dream last night that I was back in college and it was the day before finals. Naturally, I hadn't studied so I was frantically trying to do so. Except my roommate was Chris Remo who kept distracting me by trying to get me to play sweet video games with him. Eventually I gave in and just as I sat down to play I woke up.

Finished The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. An excellent addition to the Zelda series.

Finished the game this morning. I still really love LttP but ALBW was amazing. I was admittedly very skeptical about the changes being made, but they were implemented in a very clever and satisfying way. Also did anyone else notice at the end that

The Zelda series are one of the few games that I feel the need to 100%. I've done it in every Zelda I've played thus far (with the exception of the gold Skulltulas in Orcarina). So far I haven't had too much of an issue with the minigames in this one. I actually kind of like the baseball one. The trick is to hit the birds, which show up when you hit 3 pots in a row.

That did occur to me. I guess I just thought that different regions would have a different store homepage. Plus I was confused by everything getting flipped when you click on the link.

I just noticed that if you scroll to the bottom of the Steam store front page, it's upside down. It also says Spring Sale 2013 but has Nov. 27-Dec 3 as the dates. If you click on the Featured Items button, the page flips and everything else becomes upside down. If you click one of the other buttons, it takes you to the page, but flipped. I feel like this means something.

I started building a replica of my actual house just outside the walls, but so far all that exists is a wood floor that I'm probably going to have to remove.

The DS version of the first Ace Attorney game had a new 5th case added in that used some of the DS's features like the mic and touchscreen. Plus there was Apollo Justice, which I believe is the best entry in the series, and the Miles Edgeworth Investigation games.

Thanks! Just in time for Thanksgiving. I had about the same amount of furniture as you before I bought this stuff. I've been in this house for about 2 months and until today I was eating off of lawn chairs and TV trays.

I got furniture today. New dining table and chairs, sofa, chaise lounge chair, coffee table, and end table.

Speaking of GB, I was listening to the Bombcast the other day and they used the phrase "hot 'sclusives" (as in exclusive). For a brief moment I thought they said "hot scoops", especially since Patrick "Scoops" Klepek was on the cast.

Man, that would go great with my gold Zelda DS, which I also got during a Black Friday sale. Too bad. I'm kind of upset that Turtle Rock was moved, but this is offset by the fact that Turtle Rock is more... turtlely now.

One of my favorite stupid jokes in Curse of Monkey Island is the result of combining two inventory items. It cracks me up every time and I can't explain why.
