I've mostly got the kana down, done it before, just have to study enough to get it back fresh in my memory. I have done the Genki books before, as well, when I studied it in college years ago, was thinking about just buying them straight up again. I remember them being pretty nice! Kanji are always a pain. D: But that's mostly reading ("mostly" 'cause I think Genki has audio clips)! Admittedly reading is a big part of my motivation (nerrrrrrd shit), but speaking is also really important to me, I don't want to die only being able to speak one language. ): Ideally I'd take classes for the speaking practice but I'm low on funds of late thanks to health care bullshit. Still, yeah, I think I should probably just start, first. Do you actually speak Japanese? O:
-
Do we have a thread about learning languages? I can't remember the name of the thread used for asking if threads exist. Anyway I really want to try, in earnest, once again, to learn Japanese. Someone tell me what to do. D:

Haha, that's exactly what I thought. Definitely an attractive art style.

wow someone in real life actually has one of those anime boob mousepads wow

Man I wish I had money right now so I could buy this equipment and get started. I hope my motivation doesn't run dry before that next paycheck.

I started this last night after marathoning MGS1-4, Peace Walker, and Ground Zeroes in the past... oh gosh just a little over a month, maybe a month and a half? WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE! I made it out of the excruciating prologue (wowwwww) and rescued Miller (poor Miller D: ) and then... went back to Ground Zeroes to do all the content and unlock stuff for Phantom Pain. Yeah, I'm aware none of it is really anything great, but I'm enjoying Ground Zeroes quite a bit for... some reason. Well, the story seemed uh... gross and not great. I guess it's the prologue for PP, but... goddamn. So here we gooooo!

But then it's alive after the credits. Worst fucking anime goddamnit fuck fuck shit. School-Live! was terrible.
-
Holy shit how did you even use a computer on that tiny table tray.
-
And now I know what I need to buy! Thanks Codi, much appreciated.

wow what

Is every support gonna buy a ring of protection, then? I mean I get what you're saying, but I don't think it's a showstopper or anything. That said, the tusk/techies combo hasn't really been out in force for a while, anyway. Mostly 'cause of banned techies, to be sure, but, yeah.
-
Yeah, sure, go wild! I'm probably gonna start pretty simple, paint some zombies for Zombicide, see how that goes.
-
Yeah ideally I'd like to do real details on my figures but realistically I know I've never done it before, so it'll probably end up being relatively simple. I also have some CMON (so, good for your suggestion, maybe) games that I could more realistically paint without worrying about crazy detail because these Kingdom Death figures are insanely detailed, this phoenix, holy crap. Also Myth, I got a bunch of those minis, too. ...I apparently have a lot of games with minis, now that I think about it. Anyway cool thanks I will look at this stuff.

Stacking debuffs is handled on a skill by skill in this game, but most of the time they don't. New ancient dragon armor buff, for example, stacks. (Which both nerfs stacking ancients and buffs Chen agh's!)
-
Sure it does, suicide is still the big damage dealer there. It'll be ever so slightly harder to get the kill, but not significantly.

Hey I recently received my first shipment of Kingdom Death: Monsters! I backed this originally with the intent to learn how to paint minis so I could make 'em look awesome. Also maybe try to cover up some of the gross female art, which is really bad. But I love the monster design so much I backed it anyway... at an embarrassingly high level...... Anyway now that I have this junk I don't even know where to start. What sort of equipment do I need? Will it cost me an arm and a leg or is it relatively cheap? If I fuck up, can I easily start from scratch? How do I take the pieces off the plastic grid thing? Help!

I dunno I haven't seen it and have no intention of doing so. I am mostly just flabbergasted at this dub.

Sounds about how I expect to feel when I rewatch it. Also: https://vine.co/v/ePY7XLqrrZZ dang

UHHHH Funimation dubbed Prison School it's a very sexy anime let's just say there's a certain forum member who might talk about it more in the anime thread if you ask nicely anyway https://vine.co/v/ePY7XLqrrZZ

This is legit one of those few things that makes me physically shake with anger. It's nigh uncontrollable. I only manage to hold myself back when it happens because I turn up my music very loudly in order to pretend I'm somewhere else. So I'm just gonna not talk about it anymore, because I hate everyone. EVERYOOOOOOOOOONE!
-
No, it is my personal space, because it is LITERALLY PHYSICALLY crushing ME. There is no stronger definition of "my personal space" than "my body". You seem to be forgetting that even without an active recline, my knees are ALREADY pressed tightly and uncomfortably and slightly painfully into the seat in front of me. Once the recline begins, my knees are now not just pressed but CRUSHED by the seat in front of me.
-
You are invading my personal space. I have no sympathy for anyone making a choice to ruin my entire day. Believe me, I also suffer from back pain when sitting on an airplane. I have no comfort zone. But that's something I deal with. I'm not going to make myself more comfortable by making someone else suffer. I think it's a massive understatement to call it "rude". It's a fucking dick move to lean back and crush someone's knees like they don't matter. I also suffer from shoulder pain while sitting on an airplane because I can't comfortably find a way to rest my arms on something, and I'm tall enough that the constant weight of my arms pulling down on my shoulders actively strains them. The only way I can alleviate that pain is to stretch my arms out away from my body, preferably to the side, because the front takes constant muscular tension to maintain. So is it "rude" of my neighbor to not allow me to stretch my arms into their seat for the duration of the flight?!

Hi!

True story: I had a Lyft driver bring up Sword Art Online apropos of nothing and I was like "heh he hehhe he yeah it's greaaaaaaat" Anyway, SAO is the lowest of the low. That'd be like hating shounen because of Bleach. Only reason I called out .hack is because it was the first of its kind, as far as I know. I did like it originally, I think I might even like it now? It's on my re-watch list. My point is, they're not all the same show, just like not every sports anime is about one guy being the absolute best sportsball player of all time. DISCLAIMER: I haven't actually seen SAO.................
