That's not what happened. (This time.)

Dude, what the fuck. Lock this thread.

Dude, stop, you're lecturing someone else about how to live their life when you don't know their situation. Chill, man. Just chill.

Dude just look at the way minorities are treated in this country.
-
To be completely frank, this isn't even an opinion. It's an actual fact for a significant number of citizens of the United States. I'm honestly flabbergasted that this is even up for debate.

No, they don't always have that choice. That's like saying they always have the choice to work somewhere that pays more. Or that everyone has the choice to be a multimillionaire CEO.
-
oh god

Yeah, heard about that. Crazy, 'cause James is one of the better hosts. Most common theory I see is that he was acting too goofy for Perfect World, I dunno.
-
Eh??? Grey and brown?! EH??????
-
Lol what a world that would be.

I like both. I also listen to Dungeons & Doritos, which definitely leans toward the goofy side of things, as the name suggests. The GM has plans, but he lets the players deviate if that's what they choose to do. They use a system the GM is actively working on as they play, so it's sorta interesting to hear it evolve. (They did start on Dungeons & Dragons version whatever.) They do a lot of post-processing on the audio, adding special sound effects and music and junk. It also gets a bit raunchy sometimes. And... probably offensive, if I'm honest, though I think they've gotten better over time.

Kind of depends on where you are. On average Uber probably pays slightly more, but not by a significant amount. http://www.fastcompany.com/3048563/fast-feed/this-is-how-much-uber-and-lyft-drivers-make-in-different-cities I'm pretty sure that doesn't include tips. I live in Dallas, and this tells me Uber pays more, but I've had drivers in Dallas tell me Lyft pays more. It definitely pays more with tips. It's also worth noting that you can tip your Uber driver, but they're not allowed to mention tips at all, and you have to do it with cash, which, if you're using Uber, you're probably not the type to carry around small bills for tips...
-
I just turned it off!
-
Correct! I said earlier I think tipping is garbage. But when the person serving me (in whatever fashion) is not making as much money as they should be, I'm going to go with the option that allows tipping, because I can afford it, and they need it.
-
That's the dream, yeah!
-
Oh, I completely agree. But that's, unfortunately, how America works. FWIW, I think people have told me that Lyft generally pays better even WITHOUT the tip. Yeah, that is a bummer. I've had to use Uber c few times when Lyft was being really bad. It's a very rare occurrence in Dallas, at least. ... I look forward to the day when this is all just done with self-driving cars. (Putting a ton of people out of work in the process, weeeee.)
-
Yeah, I should've said, I switched to using Lyft as an alternative! Most drivers I talk to prefer Lyft, anyway. They're just stuck using Uber, too, 'cause that's what most customers use.
-
Lack of tipping is one of the reasons I stopped using Uber. I probably wouldn't use Postmates for exactly that reason. That's a bummer. ): Wish America would figure out its shit and outlaw tipping and increase minimum wage. Well okay maybe outlawing tipping is a bit extreme, but eh. I hate it.

He's not bored when he's hanging out with his friends.
-
Well, I wasn't responding to that point when I was talking about Boros' words. I was responding to the idea that Saitama and Boros are not the same. That said, why not? I don't have an answer for you. It's pretty obvious in the way that Saitama still looks bored the whole time. Boros' words only confirm what's already been shown, rather than revealing new information. I don't know, I don't have any major revelations. I'm only saying what I found to be super obvious. If you don't like it, oh well.

Saitama is a simple person. He respects strength, because he is strong. But the kind of strength he respects isn't just of the physical sort. That's why he so admires, for example, Licenseless Rider. That is a strength of spirit, a strength of will. A determined strength. In Boros, he obviously respects the physical strength, and also pities Boros because he suffers the same fate as Saitama: being too strong. I don't really know how to explain it in any other way. It's even clearly spelled out in the things Boros says. I don't really know how to explain it any other way. As someone who's experienced all three version, the anime pretty much follows the webcomic's story beat for beat. It shifts some minor things around (like Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask being introduced as early as he was), but the entire Boros fight is exactly the same. They even removed most (all?) of the extra stuff Murata wrote (i.e., ONE wrote and Murata drew original content for the manga version) when adapting it into the anime.
