I wouldn't mind a fifteen dollar buy-in.

Basically.

I guess I get what you're saying... But I react in horror at the idea of there always being a guaranteed Republican in either spot. I guess I don't much like Democrats either, but whatever! Better than the alternative.
-
When Hillary ran against Obama in 2008, the superdelegates switched to Obama after it became clear he had the most delegates. Trump and Hillary in the same office would be so pointless.

Taco automation will be infinitely more sophisticated than a regular vending machine, though...

Your number 4 is my number 3, and your number 5 is my number 2 (although I didn't explicitly lay it out like you did, that's what I was thinking). U: I almost added a 4 to match your 6, but then didn't want to bother differentiating between gov't run debates and debates managed by third parties. I hope by "runner up" you don't mean that, for example, Trump would be Hillary's VP... The reason they did away with that system is because it resulted in the VP trying to block everything the P was trying to do. They'd constantly be at war with each other. The superdelegates can claim whatever they want for now, but if Sanders somehow turned this around and banked the most delegates in the end, and the superdelegates still picked Hillary anyway? People would lose their shit. The Democratic party would fall apart.

Should someone stand next to every vending machine, too? Like a vending machine, someone would just be called in to fix any potential issues. Machines are sophisticated enough to do the calling themselves, if they detect something wrong, and in the vent that detection fails, have a button someone can push to page the repair man. You really don't need a human standing there. But even if you did, that's one human to replace a dozen. But... you really don't.

I'd love to try a tabletop simulator game if any one runs one! Preferably a short one off to start

Hunter: A Chronicles of Darkness Game of Thumbs

No worries! I'm willing to switch back to Saturday (and shift a little later in time slots) if it makes it easier for people to join. Although I'm sure Fingus would rather shift earlier. -
I brought up automation the other day when we went to taco bell for lunch. Was saying how everyone working there would eventually be replaced by robots. One guy just couldn't wrap his head around it, insisting that there would need to be multiple people there to handle any complaints. It's like he'd never heard of a vending machine before! That's all the idea is, really. A glorified vending machine. And make no mistake, taco bell doesn't deserve any other name!

The super delegates would go the way of the people, if it came to that. It would tear the party apart, otherwise. Or that's what more informed people have been telling me since the first primary this year. They're just there to make people think it's hopeless. An appearance of overwhelming victory, rather than a true rigging of the system. Not that I expect it to swing Bernie's way. (Although I do hope!) I've learned quite a bit about how our political process works this year (as it's the first year I chose to get involved), and a lot of this shit is seriously fucked up beyond all reason. It's insane to me how rigged everything feels when you start looking at it in detail. There are three things I'd do if I had the power: 1) make voting mandatory. Fine people if they don't show up. Make voting days a holiday, no matter what day it is. 2) limit campaign funding to an amount provided by tax payers. No more contributions from anybody. 3) we have the technology now, so switch everything to popular vote, instead of all these weird layered systems. Get rid of gerrymandering. Get rid of the electoral college. I dunno how realistic any if that is, and I know that even if possible, there's a lot more detail that would need to be figured out, but that's the shit that feels the most broken to me. I realize the first one in particular is probably the most controversial. It could poorly affect people who are stuck in shitty situations and can't make it to the voting stations. But they could still do mail in votes, so I dunno. I dunno. Everything just seems so broken. \:

Yeah, it's true. I'm pretty frustrated seeing all those comments re: Bernie and black voters. That's only going to drive people away. It happens a lot. Not maliciously, but even so. Bleh.

Yeah maybe. Not how it reads to me, but whatveer, I'm over it! Forgetaboutit.

I don't disagree. But I'd think I'd have earned more than enough clout around here for someone to not assume the worst about the things I say. Guess not enough for Tycho. It's the accusatory tone that's unnecessary.

Wow you sure got a lot more out of my post than I ever said.

Hunter: A Chronicles of Darkness Game of Thumbs

(I, for one, support an additional hunter in our group!) (Also Jason I promise I'll get you some answers to your questions (at least the first few) today. Like I said in Slack, I'm absolutely not used to going into this much detail in my character backstories. I usually fill in the blanks as I play, based on what seems to be correct for who I'm playing. I think it's rad, though. It's just taking me some time to... think of anything.) (Also, I don't want to be a butt, but remember when I said I was hesitant about four-hour sessions? Four hours is such a long time! I'm willing to continue, but I'd definitely prefer a three-hour session. It's not a deal-breaker, though, so if everyone else is happy with four, I'll keep going!!!) -
Actually the claim was that they couldn't get GBA to work properly on the original 3DS. Which, if you're an ambassador, you know, because it boots into DS mode and then runs the game from there.

The justification is often one of accelerationism. So, essentially, they do want America to burn and fall apart, as fast as possible, so that someone better can pick up the pieces. It's... not a good plan. I'd go so far as to say it's almost evil.
-
Yeah I've heard similar things from some Republicans (including overhearing a phonecall a coworker was making - said he'd prefer Cruz, which is... well, they're the same person, Trump's just honest about it). Some of them hate Trump. But I've also heard people say they'll vote for Trump if Bernie doesn't get the nom. I think it's a vocal minority saying that, but it's scary nonetheless. I fucking hate Hillary, but I have no choice but to vote for her if Trump is in the running. ):

Yeah, that's the one thing that bugged me about the trailer. Everything else was great, tho, y'all be hatin'.

Literally nothing would make me happier. (Okay, a lot would make me happier, but I really really want this to be true.) (Jade for next Smash Bros.????)

Count me in as someone who loved everything about Transistor. (And Bastion!) What a wonderful game.
