At this point I've lost all friends from earlier than college. I figure it's only a matter of time before those undergrad friends start fading away.

But you can't subscribe to a playlist on YouTube so it's automatically updated and delivered to your feed. If you're someone (like me) who actually subscribes to multiple channels on YouTube and uses that feed, Polygon's thousands of videos quickly becomes noise you become accustomed to ignoring. It's annoying. I can't believe playlist subscriptions isn't a thing on YouTube.

Is being reminded of the time I lived in Japan a happy thing? 'Cause hot damn do I want to go back there. Of course n1nja is well aware of this desire of mine, but hey. Japan's so rad. I'm jealous.

Yep season 2 was really really good.

I don't necessarily disagree with the criticism that Bernie's policies are only half-formed, or aren't fully considered... but I'd much rather have someone who actually cares about these issues than someone who obviously doesn't. His foreign policy (or lack thereof?) does bug me a lot, but then so does Hillary's history with foreign policy. Maybe she's learned from her mistakes, I dunno, but I'd rather not take the chance. But it's also a risk with Bernie, so... I consider foreign policy basically a coin flip.

Let's talk about it. We're all doomed, right?
-
is it too late to say i meant it figuratively?? D: D:

I think it's important to talk about it regardless. I just also think it's important to talk about the how and why and what-can-we-do-about-it, not just the whodunnit. Hey, if it turns out I'm wrong, I'll gladly eat my hat and apologize for the false accusation. I'd prefer that outcome, to be honest.

He's doing it because he's mad that I made a post with the text "This thread seems unhealthy." in the let's-all-laugh-at-GG thread. That post led to the thread being locked, and it upset him for some reason.
-
lmao You're the only person who's said it more than once on these forums. That gamergate thread was basically just obsessing over everything happening in that area of the internet. Every other post was an incredibly smug "look at what these fuckers did THIS week! let's all laugh at them now!" It wasn't helpful. It wasn't constructive. It wasn't even all that often about identifying the people HURT by gamergate - the vast majority of it was about identifying the people BEHIND gamergate and pointing out what dumb thing they recently did. It was an unhealthy obsession. It's not that hard to see how it had runs its course. But, sure, you can continue to be an immature baby about it. Go right ahead.

I think it's less that the media "loves" Hillary and more that they just give her way more attention. Well, they did at the start anyway. I talked to you about this in the slackyslack, but it's become more balanced over time.* The incidents Gorm mentions, though, did and do stand out to me as particularly egregious. *Or at least I thought it had, until I clicked the first link in Gorm's post!

My dad used to play games for me while I was sitting on his lap when I was really really young. One of those games eluded me for many years - I had very distinct memory of a screen in the game where a guy was wearing a Hawaiian shirt in a beach setting, I believe trying to talk to some information desk or something. After describing it in as much detail as possible, someone finally identified it as one of the Leisure Suit Larry games. ...So my dad played Leisure Suit Larry with me when I was a small child. Basically. I just realized I never asked him about it. I should. Man now that I think about it, my dad used to play a lot of computer games. I wonder why he stopped. I should buy him a super sweet racing wheel setup. I know that was always his biggest jam.

Do not apologize for being angry about this kind of shit. You're in good company. ):

Hunter: A Chronicles of Darkness Game of Thumbs

I'm good waiting a week. Maybe we should do biweekly anyway, unless we get more people? Hard to commit a four hour block every weekend for most people. (Not me, because what is social life.) Doing it every other week allows for some time off and the ability to plan more solidly ahead of time. Or maybe not! I dunno! I'm cool either way. U: -
Classic gif!

It's crazy isn't it? Love their breakfast. Can't STAND anything else. Well except shakes but it's hard to mess those up.
