I did a thing. jQuzxBBmAj8 Even though what I did here was somewhat all right, watching it now I can see a whole lot of things I did wrong. I might've even been able to turn the whole teamfight around if I had sheeped Sven the first time, instead of cycloning him. C'est la vie. That's why I'm not pro. (YET?!)

I will get mine soon. But technically I have to take one final big comprehensive test first, which I can take anytime from now until like two years from now? And I can fail it as many times as I want? And I'm likely to get a job before I actually take it? (Hopefully?)

I've destroyed all grass blocks in my pit. No longer will grass grow. No longer will I be plagued by the slower-to-dig blocks from hell. Yay. oh god i still have like a million layers to go -
I watched the trailer for it a while back and it looked pretty great, if you're into that sort of thing. I definitely intend to watch it sooner than later.

Whenever anyone's got nothing to do, they should go dig my pit a bit deeper. The borders are pretty clear at this point. DO IT. U: -
Steam says I played it for three hours.

but but that's what happens when a bullet goes through someone blood splatters ... I have literally no issue with CG trailers, as long as they're fun to watch, and this one was. If your issue is specifically because this is the debut trailer (and it seems like that is indeed your issue), I dunno. It doesn't really bug me. I like getting a feel for the setting. It does a good job of getting me excited (which is, after all, its purpose), but at the same time, I'm intelligent and patient enough to wait for the gameplay videos that will inevitably arrive.

I guess yeah they also overestimate their own importance, to a degree. Shrug. I just beat Botanicula. It's a neat li'l thing.

I think what you really mean to say is that they have a sense of humor that often doesn't translate to good marketing. For example, GOG "shutting down". I found it amusing on many levels, but it was by no means a good example of marketing. But they make up for it by being, well, awesome. So it's all good.

my first reaction was to scream "OH GOD" and back away from my computer screen

What I wanna do is put a tower in the center that looks kinda like that tower near spawn with the bridges out to semi-floating rooms. The tower would be from bedrock to sky limit. And then the walls of the pit would be lined with like dirt hovels. And then the hovels would be interconnected with each other and the tower by a bunch of winding floating bridges. I mean, you know, nothing too big. This is something I've wanted to do for ages, and I've decided NOW IS THE TIME. -

I am going to dig a 125-block radius circle straight down to the bedrock. Then I will do other things inside that circle. *waggles eyebrows* -

Some of those here can already attest to how superwonderful I am at Dota 2. The best. Only the best. www.steamcommunity.com/id/twig/ NA I actually play LoL, too, but I exclusively play stupid troll with friends, so probably nobody wants to play that with me. -

Well, goddamn, the stuff you guys have built already not only impresses me in scale, but also in detail. The other server I'm on (which I think I'm going to abandon for this one!) is full of people with no sense of aesthetic... pleasingness. They build things huge, but without the detail to make it actually look good, for the most part. I've requested permission from Our Lord. (My in-game name is Twig, in case you read this first tabacco.) I'm still kind of down about the cheating, but I think I can get over it for a world that actually looks good. Hopefully the things I build will live up to the stuff already on the server. X: -
I remembered that interview, as well, and was similarly baffled. Glad to hear they've reconciled. That video was fucking weird, though. I'm... cautiously excited?

I've heard it called both. (I live in America.) Although when referring to the button on the phone it's always exclusively called the pound sign.

I can't read books on planes because I'm so tall I have to either bend my neck straight down or hold my arms up high enough to be aligned with my eyeballs. Man do I hate flying. However, if I could, I would definitely not want to read anything super deep, for the exact reason Ben stated.

Chris' complaints about Magic are exactly my complaints about Magic. I love the game and its mechanics, but I absolutely detest how going from one game to the next, with the same people, with the same decks, I could either win in five turns, lose in five turns, or have a completely even match, all because of the randomness of shuffling 60+ cards in your deck. I've had people try to convince me that, no, it's perfectly balanced and reasonable and if you're a better player then you can overcome any hurdle WELL SORRY BUT NO I CAN'T OVERCOME THE HURDLE OF MY OPPONENT GETTING ALL THE BEST CARDS FOR HIS STRATEGY AND ME GETTING NOTHING BUT LAND LAND LAND oh and maybe one monsterthing with one defense and no attack. One might then argue that maybe I should build my deck better? Well, maybe. But I'm playing Duel of the Planeswalker, and all the decks are prebuilt. Why are they not prebuilt to avoid these sort of things? Maybe the designers are just bad? But I'm pretty sure the decks are actually based on successful decks. Ugh it is so frustrating. But, well, at least I never fell into the pitfall of buying Magic cards. (I did buy Pokemon cards. But I gave them all away to some little kid at a local "gym battle" when I got tired of them in like sixth grade.)

I despise hashtags. And now the first person to read this will cleverly respond with a hashtag.

This is also why I listen to happy music when I play Dota 2. That way, my frustration at people in the game is lessened considerably!

I liked Bioshock 2 a lot. Not long ago, I replayed Bioshock on PC (having originally played it on 360, hating the controls but loving everything else). Then I immediately moved on to Bioshock 2. My conclusions, which are somewhat unrelated, are thus: 1) Bioshock is nowhere near as great the second time around, as most of what made it great for me was the shock value of a lot of the scripted events (as well as the twist, of course); and 2) Bioshock 2 was more fun to play, and probably I think I maybe kinda like it more than Bioshock even accounting for story? X: In conclusion of the conclusions, Bioshock is cool. I look forward to Bioshock everythings in the future.
