It might just be my browser (Chrome) or even just my laptop (I haven't really been tracking the problem or anything), but sometimes when I leave a tab open for a while, either because I'm reading a long post, or my habit to open up fifty tabs at once and get to them in my own time, I can't use the quick reply. I can type up as much as I want, but the "Post" button does nothing! Sometimes, though (like now), it says "Saving post..." but then doesn't actually perform the posting... action. So I copy, refresh, paste, post, and it works!

Haha, "massage". Yeah, definitely sounds legit. U:

NO. It was good talking with YOU.

You're just looking for a fight.

I don't think you can compare Tribes and Brink. They're trying to do entirely different things, right? It's almost as weird as comparing sprinting in Military Shooter to rocket jumping in TF2. Not QUITE as weird, but still weird.

Now that's a good anime. Man, it's probably my favorite.

"without repercussion" kind of implies people don't get unnecessarily angry, but sure.

The proper way to play Witch Doctor is as a carry. The above statement might be a lie. No, but seriously. He's one of the best damage-based supports. His autoattack damage is pretty huge for a support. Get them phase boots fast and the enemy laners are gonna hate you. His real strength, though, lies in Cask+Maledict. BOSS. -
It's funny, because at first I wasn't sure if I was A or B. Then I read your second description of "Group A" and thought you were talking about me (because that's how I feel!*)... Then I saw that, no, Group B is actually supposed to be me! *My idea of a better world is one in which people can say whatever the fuck they want without repercussion. A natural consequence (and characteristic) of this world is that people wouldn't be angry, and maybe that would even result in a complete LACK of, shall we say, politically incorrect statements. Obviously an impossible dream, but I like to dream big??!

Brink is such a fun game. Shame it got fucked over by an incredibly buggy launch. ): I hopped on once about half a year ago and there were literally zero people playing. Hopped on again a few months later, and there was ONE server with a bunch of people who were apparently very bad at the game, because I completely dominated them, almost single-handedly. Although, granted, the game's biggest flaw is that defending is too easy on most maps. Part of that is because people tried to play it like a deathmatch game, and part of it is because the map design isn't the best it could be. I can only imagine how great it'd be, now, if enough people had continued playing it to merit continued support, which would've inevitably led to better-balanced maps. Re: classes feeling different: They definitely do, but it takes some leveling up to reach that point. That's the game's second biggest flaw. FUCK PERKS.

Agh's on Lich is never a good idea over other, more precious items. If it's a complete stomp, sure, do whatever the hell you want, but Lich is one of those heroes you rarely get Agh's on. Mek and Pipe both take priority as support items, though sometimes you might ignore Pipe if the enemy team doesn't have a lot of big magic damage skills. Drum is always nice on every team, and Lich can use the minor health boost. If you're getting enough farm to get Agh's, Eul's is much cheaper and more useful for your team, and Sheep isn't much more expensive, and still more useful for your team. Maybe it's just the level I'm playing at (somewhere in the High tier, probably on the lower end), but unless I've got an enigma or Tide or something to keep the enemy team still for a good, decent time, the instant anyone sees a Lich ult coming at them, they run away from the rest of their team. If I'm up against a team that DOESN'T do that, then they're already too stupid to even need the extra Agh's casting distance, and the damage isn't that great an increase, anyway. -
I agree. My old roommates are paying the rest of their rent, even though they both have been gone for a month or more! Lease ends... tomorrow. U:

Everyone has the right to say whatever the fuck they want, but they open themselves up for retaliation when they do so, justified or not.

Oh, Mencia's the hack. I remember that now. Heard more than a few comedians bitch about him. Hacks should be shut down because they're dirty thieves, but that's another discussion entirely. U: I answered your question later in my post: "Every audience member has the power and the right to be offended, but they don't have the power or right to shut things down." Although in the case of Tosh, I guess she did have the power, because he never got to finish his joke. Yay for her. That article quote doesn't answer my question. WHO decides what is and isn't funny? You, through that quote, provide a sort of definition of funny, but it's completely arbitrary. Humor is subjective. Every single human being has a different since of humor. Much of it overlaps, of course, or comedians would never be successful in the first place, but that doesn't mean everyone shares the same idea of what is funny. So, again... WHO? Is it you? Is it me? Is it Tosh? Is it the Properly God-Fearing President of Our Glorious United States of America? Who is it? P.S., You say you don't want to talk about Tosh, but you've now linked TWO articles about him! The second of which contains some seriously ridiculous hyperbole! Jus' sayin'!

Hey, now wait a second. I specifically said multiple times that the "hurr women" jokes were fucking stupid. But I hate them on the grounds that they are stupid, not that they're offensive. If someone wants to make a joke about a woman getting back in the kitchen, he or she is fully entitled to do so, and no one should have the power to make them stop. If it proves to be unfunny (which it will, because such jokes are stupid), then they will hopefully learn from their mistake and try to tell a better joke next time around. Maybe they won't learn. Then fuck them, they aren't good comedians in the first place, and I don't have to ever listen to their dumb jokes, anyway. I'm not familiar enough with Carlos Mencia to judge him, but that doesn't sound too different from what my opinion would be, because I prefer intelligent comedy (for the most part). But to reiterate: I don't think Carlos Mencia should be stopped from telling his bad jokes. I just don't have to listen. I do consider being accused of ignorance an insult when every time it is followed by "here let me tell you why" and the why is something of which I'm already aware and I point this out and am later accused of ignorance of the same thing that I've already said I'm aware of. But the accusation of ignorance comes from the ignorance of the accuser, so it's not a big deal. That's kind of what I was getting at when I said I'm not offended. It is just "like, whatever, maaan". I guess a simple answer to your inquiry as to my definition of "offensive": something that has the potential to hurt someone. The problem, in my opinion, is that everything has the potential to hurt someone, somewhere, somehow. No matter how innocent you might think it is. It's ridiculous, I know. But there are people who will literally be offended by a poop joke. Certainly there are different degrees of offensiveness, and intelligent human beings understand that some things, like rape, are on a whole different level from poop, but that doesn't stop that one crazy person from being offended by a seemingly inconsequential thing. And I don't mean to downplay the significance of a comment about rape by comparing it to poop, so don't take it that way, PLEASE. My point is that, in comedy, there can't be some arbitrary line. No two people will ever agree on where that line is. There will always be slight variations depending on the topic and the individual. Every audience member has the power and the right to be offended, but they don't have the power or right to shut things down. Now let me ask you this: how do you define "actually funny"? Who is the final judge on what is and isn't funny?

Veno's slow is so amazing. Dazzle's stun/slow is also amazing. I always go level 3 Poison Touch as soon as possible. If I'm having a good lane, that's at level 5. If bad, level 6. Ult isn't really worth it until teamfight phase. I would never go Agh's on Lich. There are better choices. U: -

Everybody is technically a Lich player. Even though I've been playing for almost a year, now, Lich is still one of my favorite heroes. It's amazing how much more fun he is once you have good game sense, and once you start experimenting with his item builds and whatnot. He's a surprisingly great harasser, which I didn't realize for a long time. I can almost always dominate a duo lane BY MYSELF with him! Just the other day I got first blood AND second blood (A DOUBLE KILL!) against a Faceless Void and Lion! Phase boots plus drums of endurance plus Eul's? SUPERFAST. Get an orchid or even a bloodstone if you're doing really well. Sell phase, get boots of travel. YOU KNOW, FOR FUN. -
What the hell happened to that first post! Getting a new video card is an exciting thing. That's all I got to say, really.

GOLD COMING FROM SOMEONE WHAT HATES FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!! ;D I can't recall the exact quote, but it was insinuated at one point in the feminism thread that, through my "ignorance" (an insult in and of itself), I actively support bigotry by supporting offensive humor. This is complete and total bullshit. I fucking detest bigotry of any form. (Although I do feel it's important to say that I make an exception for genuinely stupid people who let themselves believe genuinely stupid things.) I am fully conscious of when I am actually guilty of it myself, and it tears me up inside when it actually happens. I relish our differences as human beings of different groups and cultures and whatever because it makes life more interesting. But I also love to mock our differences. I find humor in all things, good and bad. I don't believe this makes me a bad person. I DO tend to avoid making jokes about sensitive topics, because I don't think I'm a skilled enough humorist to make GOOD jokes on these topics. But I fully support the people who can. Moving on! I choose not to make a big deal of these insults, more often than not, because I like to assume that people don't actually MEAN to be insulting. Ironically, in writing this post, I now AM making a big deal out of them... I did point it out at the time in the hopes of, well, keeping the insults from happening in the future! But I have no desire to make it a Thing. It sort of worked, until Salka went nutso on me. Make no mistake: I'm not offended. I completely understand and empathize with your* frustration. I just happen to strongly disagree on what is a very touchy subject for some people. That disagreement tends to breed more and more hostility the longer the argument goes on. Which is unfortunate, but I'm not sure what I can do about it. I try to be as civil as possible while being the odd man out. I like to think I succeed, but apparently I failed after all, or we wouldn't be having this conversation! *A general "you". I'm not referring to you, Sal, specifically.

I just thought you guys should know...! I finished the tower! There's a giant dick coming out of Phaedrus' Hole! IT LOOKS LIKE A PENIS! When I was making the cap, I just wanted a kind of roundish thing that came to a point. I broke it. At first, from up closer, I couldn't get the picture of anime hair out of my head. then someone pointed out it looked like a penis. It's a penis. JOKE'S ON YOU. (I promise that wasn't my intention, but man is it hilarious it turned out this way. I told n0b to fix it, 'cause I'm gonna be busy for the next couple days.) -
Missed an opportunity there: "Mindventure". WHAT A SHAME. Video looks neat, though. Pretty, at least.
