Whoa, hold on. XCOM the shooter could still be fantastic. Just because this DLC is shit doesn't mean a completely separate game is or that they're at all related. XCOM as a shooter is not inherently a bad idea. Closed-mindedness is no longer necessary now that they've released this game. Although the fact that they're reworking it as a third-person shooter is worrying, just because that's rarely a good sign.

Yeah, usually! I'm not disagreeing with you in any way. To sum: even though I apparently bought a bad one, I'm not worried about my SSD dying, because I take the proper precautions. If it costs me a few years down the road, I'll be annoyed, but not enraged. Fun fact: I've literally never had a hard drive of any sort die on me. I always replace them before they do so. i5 is totally worth it for the newest of games, especially the ones that really take advantage of being, you know, PC games. Not to mention, i5 will be good for far longer than an i3... And i7 is complete overkill. But i5 is not at all.

Easily upgradable is the hard part, as CPU chipsets tend to outpace whatever motherboard you buy pretty quickly. Basically, for the most part, any time you want to upgrade your CPU, you're going to have to upgrade your motherboard, as well. Which sometimes means RAM, too! If all you want to upgrade is the video card... PCI-e will probably stick around for a long while, and is generally at least marginally backwards compatible. I recently bought these parts to upgrade my own PC, as it'd been over five years since I last did. I have never been happier. Every other set of hardware I've purchased since I started building my own PCs has come with at least one flawed piece. If you're building completely fresh, aside from the video card, you'll also need a case, a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse. That's mostly preference.

I'd go ahead and believe he maybe is "trained" in the use of a pistol or revolver or even shotgun. Crossbow, if he hunts. But a rocket launcher? NO SIR.

I dunno if I'd agree re: Half-Life. What scientist would know how to perfectly use every single weapon he picks him? He never served in any armed force. He's a genius from MIT, and suddenly he's all up in wild combat everywhere! Yeah, he solves puzzles sometimes. But the SHOOT SHOOT BANG BANG far outweighs the simple puzzles you run into. X:

Yeah I've encountered zero bugs so far (that I've noticed). Unless rats eating an unconscious dude really isn't supposed to happen, like Steve said. Then that's a bug. I assumed it wasn't at the time. It sucks that you had shit luck, and I empathize with your frustration, I really do... but to compare this to other Bethesda game launch quality? EHHHH. It comes up near the top compared to most game launches, period.

Well, it'd more just be "a funny thing that can happen" than an actual game mechanic. Although, flipping a body over is remarkably easy, provided it's automated.
