You could always try, you know, actually explaining why you like it. So far it's just been a bunch of "it's good what's wrong with you!" Which is fine, but, you know, hardly helpful for my understanding of things. I've been known to change my mind. I'm not a particularly stubborn individual when it comes to entertainment. I'm well aware of the near-universal love for Terminator 1/2, but until this first attempt, all I really knew about it was "I'll be back!"

Yeah the Rosh fight is so dumb, especially since there's literally no point in trying to go for the record since everyone just does a five-hour pudge-farm-fest exploit. And even before that, it required both teams working together from second one. But everything up to it is super rad and I hope it becomes a real game mode, although more polished, less rushed together.

What makes Terminator a good movie? Classic, genre-setting, etc. I guess I can see, but I just... I dunno. I admit I probably didn't give it enough time, but the beginning was just so boring, and there didn't seem to be anything special to it. Maybe I'm just getting into it far too late to enjoy it. I don't think that's it, though. I generally don't have that sort of problem. Why should I keep watching? CONVINCE ME.

I started watching Terminator and found it boring, but, to be fair, that's probably the best role for him, since he always acts like a robot!

He's a really terrible actor. Even fans of the guy admit this. I guess I just didn't get in on the love early enough. I can't stand him.

(I think they're outright lame when critiqued at any level below the surface of "is it fun". Which is probably why I rarely bother to read much into movies of its ilk.) EDIT: I do recall really enjoying some of the books when I was a kid, but, then, I've always preferred reading books to watching movies, so that doesn't really mean anything.

Temple of Doom is the best Indiana Jones movie and I won't hear another bad word about it!

I thought Total Recall was really fun, but that's all I really went there to see. I never expected more than "fun". I don't really understand why the plot in what is obviously a dumb action movie really matters. U: U: U: I've never seen the original, and to be honest, have almost zero interest in anything starring Arnold.

They're actively pursuing Unity support for Wii U, I think (?), so I'm fairly certain they're definitely not against middleware. The bigger problem is as PiratePoo states: soon enough the next generation of Sony/Microsoft consoles will be available, and UE3 will be a thing of the past...

To be honest, locking on isn't even really necessary. I only ever used it in situations where I was, yeah, shift-looking. (It helps, I think, that I only actually realized it existed about ten levels in.) It's much more useful during the slow approach. Trying to use it in the middle of an active, lightning-paced fight would just result in disaster, I think, no matter which key it was bound to. Although I'm sure some people can do it. I can't!

I am similarly consistently baffled by the confusion surrounding Greenlight. It's relatively straightforward.

I've just had a revelation as to how these people are getting such ridiculous times on Roshan! FORTY-FOUR SECONDS. Obviously, both teams work together. The trick is, you have some people running back and forth carrying candy from one bucket to the other, and others getting candy from the baby roshans. Candy gives so much gold and XP that in twenty minutes, you can more than reach your max level/item build. Also, obviously, they don't give Roshan any candy, as that just makes him stronger. U: Probably other people realize this faster than me.

I've seen some legit strategies develop for this mode (Undying and Tide and Jakiro all together really fucking hurts). I've also seen people go balls out stupid and just bumrush each other for the entire game. Either way is fun to me. U: I hope Valve takes the idea and makes it a permanent fixture in Dota 2, hopefully with a brand new map designed specifically for the mode. I like it more every time I play it. X:

I thought it was obvious from the instant I saw glowing blue whale oil tanks that whales were different in Dishonored Land. When it became apparent in the first actual level that all the witchery-didgeridoo was also whale-related.... well, it was just confirmation of what I'd already suspected. WHALES.
