I don't know from Thief 1, 2, 3*, but I'm getting pretty psyched about this game. It is currently the only "TRIPLE AYYY" game that I am anticipating. So that probably contributes! Too bad 2014. *Although I do fully intend to play them... eventually. I'm a fool for not having done so already. I may start this weekend! Except Bioshock Infinite... And other games. Guh.

Basically what you're saying is "they provide options besides stealth, so it's not a stealth game"? I definitely played the game exactly like you described a "good" stealth game should play and found it to be really fun and engaging.

I don't really see how it's bad. It's free, and avoidable, and probably took very little effort on their part (thus, not detracting from more important things), while getting them some money from Nissan.

I've managed to develop a headache in the past hour during the experimental game thing. If there's anything I know about myself it's that my headaches don't go away unless I stop moving around and rest in comfort. It was great hanging out last night. Gonna go home and recuperate now.

Hah. Maybe? I haven't played it. But uh unlike tomb raider, doesn't that game pretty much immediately give dude a gun? I remember people complaining about that.

Seirei no Moribito and its - for all intents and purposes - spiritual successor, Kemono no Souja Erin, are both great. (I think I liked Moribito more, but that's kind of meaningless, because it's very fantastic.) ALSO: Weird how I identify these two series using their Japanese names. That's not normal for me. I had to think about it before I realized I had seen the anime you were talking about.

Just because you know what the twist is doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. I've had more than one SUPER TWIST spoiled for me across various mediums and still been fully able to enjoy and appreciate the stories.

I'm not really sure what you guys mean by "park" or "on top of", but I guess I'll figure it out tomorrow! EDIT: Oh, Yerba Buena Gardens thing. The "on top of" really threw me off until I realized it actually is basically on top. WELP.
