  1. BioShock Infinite

Heyyyy that pretty much sums up my entire position. Hurray I don't feel so alone anymore!
  2. Link 2 The Past: 2 Past 2 Furious

I had no idea such a thing even existed, but you're still wrong!
  3. Internet Comics

The only comic I can read on Keenspot (and I've given quite a few of them a long chance before eventually giving up) is Skullkickers. Skullkickers is fantastic, and doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not. http://skullkickers.keenspot.com/d/20120106.html (Actually the page that literally just came out today has me a little worried. But at the same time, do I even really care, as long as I get more skull-kicking with that RAD ART? Not sure I do.)
  4. Link 2 The Past: 2 Past 2 Furious

I'm not a big fan of the art. Mrrrh. I wish they'd done Link's Awakening 2, instead. That game is by far the most superior 2D Zelda game! FACT. DON'T EVEN DARE DISAGREE. Despite the above, I'm pretty excited. But also worried that they'll turn it into yet another hand-holding extravaganza. WHAT'S THAT. YOU FOUND A PUZZLE. LET ME SOLVE IT FOR YOU BEFORE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO TRY.
  5. BioShock Infinite

    I would agree entirely!
  6. My issue with fighting games isn't the combos or whatever; it's the method of input. Quarter-circle magic bullshit is so unappealing and annoying to get used to (and it hurts my thumbs after a while, and I have no desire to pay mucho money for an arcade stick) that I just give up and quit. Divekick seems marginally interesting. There was also one that purported to emulate Dragonball Z style fights, but had a really simple solid-color-character style, and overall just simple, basic mechanics. It looked fun, last time I saw it? I wish I could remember what it was called.
  7. Side note: I wish I was around people who loved to play Smash Bros. again. Everyone I know here is all "STREET FIGHTERRRRR". People who live just south of San Francisco, come to meeee and let's play.
  8. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

That's really awful art, too. Jesus.
  9. Life

Hurray! I hope things continue to go your way! Semi-related: It's weird how seeing other people have good things happen to them makes me feel better, even though it doesn't even remotely directly effect me. Human brain.
  10. anime

I despise Evangelion, and it has nothing to do Shinji being a coward and everything to do with him, plus every other character, being annoyingggggg.
  11. Achievements are great! SO THERE! I will vigorously seek them out, as long as it doesn't seem like or become a detriment to my enjoyment of the game. Also, if the game stops being fun for me, I stop caring. BUT THEY'RE GREAT.
  12. that's too bad it's a great video snickersnicker (a search for patton oswalt star wars filibuster should get you one that is available, maybe)
  13. 'Bout time you guys talk about Prison Architect, geeeeeez. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, 'cause I love it, although it's very obviously not a finished game, yet. Or at least, last time I played it. (A month or so ago.)
  14. Nintendo 3DS

    Yoshi's Island looks like butt.
  15. BioShock Infinite

It's more fun to not ask that question SO I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU WOULD.
  16. Life

I feel like your dad would have supported your decision to not work on a military thing, if he's as understanding as you say. I know my dad would, and he works on an air force base. Granted, I've never been in a situation even close to that, so what do I know.
  17. Childless, 31 Year Old White Men

Can't speak for everywhere, obviously, but my place of work is pretty laid back about hours, as long as you get your eight and/or get your work done. Part of that may be that we make mobile games, though. Certainly not as demanding of resources as your triple-ay title. Unfortunately, it's not exactly the most rewarding, creatively speaking. Hm.

I've managed 60 seconds on Hexagon and Hexagoner, but can't beat 30 on Hexagonest. Hyper Hexagon, I can get to about 20 seconds? Anyway, yeah, it's an amazing game. Although the most crushing disappointment isn't losing. Rather, it's the music STOPPING when you lose. Damn those are some sick beats. In actualy game-beating news: Just finished up Resonance. It's a click-'em-up published by those of Blackwell fame, Wadjet Eye. It wasn't bad, although goddamn, old-school click-'em-ups can be fucking annoying. This game amplifies it by suddenly throwing FOUR CHARACTERS AT ONCE in your face to control at your whim, with like fifteen thousand different goals. Okay, it's not that bad. More like three goals. But, well. So much. SO MUCH. Prior to that, I beat Gemini Rue, which was beautiful. Mm-mmm. Much better puzzle-wise, and at the very least, I love me some noir-ish and some space-sci-fi-ish, so I definitely preferred it to Resonance, which only had crazy near-future terrorism combined with wacky Big Brother To The Extreme Is Comingggg!!!. The Blackwell series is much better than either of those games, though. Maybe doesn't start as strong, but gets better by the most recent game. Can't wait for the next one. X:
  19. Damn that gave me goosebumps and I know nothing about fighting games.
  20. SimCity: The City Simulator

Hah geez. There's so much potential for cool actual expansion and DLC stuff and this is what they come up with. I was lenient with the first Nissan thing, 'cause it's not like it's mandatory or anything, but now I'm just bleh.
  21. BioShock Infinite

    fuck i hate spoiler tags

60 seconds is the "win" state, although it never actually ends.
