Re: colors, there was a Radiolab a=episode about how some people actually have more rods and/or cones (I forget which does which or whatever I AIN'T NO BIOLOGIST!!), and so perceive color at a wider range than normal humans. For the record, I don't think you came off as a dick. I had a pretty similar experience, although, luckily, I came to the realization pre-18. Probably around 14 or 15? Not that, at that age, I even knew what that would mean. Obviously, ten years later, I have a better idea. When I told my mom I didn't believe (a couple years after I decided that I didn't, in fact, believe), goddamnit, she started crying. It was the worst. I wish I'd never told her. For a while, she lived in constant fear of me going to hell, hoping that I'd see the error of my ways. Or, at least, that's how I imagined it in my head. She talked to me about it, told me it was just a "phase" I'd get over. Ugh. A few months after my confession, she stopped trying to bring me back in. Now, she's very supportive of anything I do. She just doesn't talk about religion anymore. Which I appreciate. But I think there's still a part of her that is scared for me because I don't believe and that means I'm going to hell. And it fucking sucks to know that, and not be able to do anything about it.

That's fair, I guess, although I don't think the rhythm is lost at all in POS' fastraps. Each beat is still very distinct, even if it's harder to understand what he's actually saying. Yeah I definitely have the problem of my profile being dull. Especially after browsing a bunch of profiles, I'm like, "ugh these all sound the same... as mine". BUT I'M A DULL GUY. ): Well, I don't really think I am, but it's hard to sound interesting when all the shit I like is all the shit everyone likes. I wanna travel A LOT, I like going out with friends, I like staying in and relaxing, I like video games (okay that last one is probably a detriment for most people, but I can't really hide it, as I MAKE GAMES FOR A LIVING), books, movies, music, I'm actively trying to broaden my appreciation of all of these things. I think the most interesting thing I have on there is just a little snippet about how I once got stuck in Seoul for a month and instead of taking advantage of it, I moped in a shitty motel for 80% of that month, wasting the opportunity. I like that story, and I like telling it, because it's real and it happened to me. But, it's also kinda boring. U: BLEH. Re: not drinking. In my experience, it's way more annoying for the non-drinkers to be around drinkers than it is for the drinkers to be around non-drinkers. I personally don't give a fuck, but I also know I become belligerently HAPPY and ARM OVER THE SHOULDERY when I'm drunk, and the day after I'm like, "god I'm the worst what a weirdo". The other drinkers don't care, obviously, but for the sober people...? It's possible I'm too self-conscious about it (retroactively). But I've heard similar things from both sides of the fence more than enough to convince me I'm not!

I like combat, but I like the idea of a game like this without combat every five feet, too. We have combat everywhere. Do something else. Shame TRIPLE AY can't/won't do that.
