guys why does no one ever want to do this with the BEST queen song
  2. Movie/TV recommendations

I saw The Big Lebowski all the way through for the first time only about a year ago. I'd seen all of it in separate bits and pieces throughout the years, but never all at once. I enjoyed it. It ain't bad by any means, but I don't get the extreme love. I'm also annoyed that every time I drink a White Russian (my drink of choice!), people think it's because I like The Big Lebowski. I was drinking that before I even knew it was a thing in that movie. Goddamnit pop culture.
  3. My nickname of choice at work has three hedgehogs associated with it, and one of them is female. Interesting. Never heard of a female "Rusty". Also I hate all of you for igniting my morbid curiosity. Yuck.
  4. Games giveaway

That's cool! I probably still have one. When I get around to it, I'll make a big list. I have a lot of keys I'm pretty sure no one's used. Like a lot. A lot.
  5. Deleting or deactivating your account?

I have to admit I'm completely baffled by this thread. It's one of the strangest requests I've ever seen. At first I thought you just wanted to leave, which is understandable. People change and want to move on and/or away. But then it was about clearing all evidence of your presence! I'm sure you have your reasons, but I won't lie and say I'm not incredibly curious. (But I also respect your desire to not be open about it, so hey.) At any rate, I hope whatever it is that's happening works out the best for you. U:

I actually might have a key for Night Sky! I'll check when I'm on my desktop later and get back to you.
  7. DOTA 2

I was depressed to discover that a guy who started half a year after me and took forever to improve is now in my tier of matchmaking. (He's on my friends list so when I ran into him on the opposite team...) And then I got stomped. I haven't improved much. ): HOW I IMPROVE
  8. Games giveaway

Night Sky is really good! One of those games no one ever talks about that I really really like. I'm annoyed that the HD version never found its way to Steam, though, despite claims that it would. ):
  9. Games giveaway

That's why I always PM the code. Someone can just take it without saying anything (including lurkers!!!) and that's rude. ):
  10. Half-Life 3

    OH SHIT
  11. Games You Keep Coming Back To

Eh, I've reconciled that feeling with myself. I fucking love video games, and that's what I like to do in my freetime! WHAT OF IT!!!
  12. Games You Keep Coming Back To

Ashamed? I have 1000 hours of TF2, and about 1500 of Dota 2, and I ain't ashamed. I might be ashamed of my WoW time, though, if I even knew it.
  13. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Soemething I've always wanted in Animal Crossing, especially once it went multiplayer, is more thematically distinct towns. Everything looks the same on the outside. The new mayor customization options do help a bit in that regard, but it's still "green grass with trees with cliff on one side and beach on other side and bottom". It'd be rad to get a different visual theme. I dunno what they'd do. In my younger days, I wanted like... a Metroid-themed town and a Zelda-themed town and a Mario-themed town. Now I think that'd probably be taking it too far, but I still want Something!
  14. Nextbox 1080: The Reckoning

I also have a R4, and it contains games for which I also have the cartridge!!
  15. could we put that trength in a wario game instead
  16. Feminism

    thanks zeus!!!
  17. San Francisco Residents!

Unless I'm particularly tired (or lazy, 'cause it's an hour commute to downtown SF for me, and doing that on WEEKENDS can be pretty detrimental to my relaxation), I'm always up for a meetup! I can't make any promises about this Saturday, but I'm not against it. So... I may or may not... show up. How's that for commitment?
  18. Feminism

Guys it's not as fun to pretend doors are the greatest social pressure imaginable when you categorically state that they're not that complicated. ):

  20. Life

Actually to be honest I LOVE rain. Walking around in the rain without an umbrella is one of my favorite things to do. It's just that, yeah, I can't be soaking dripping wet by the time I get to work, heh.
  21. Favorite Game Of All Time

I also gotta chime in and say I agree with this completely in every way. The only thing I'd add is that I also loooooved the PvP in vanilla WoW (in that there actually was world PvP), and disliked the direction they took it as time went on (ARENAS). So, basically the same thing as your raiding issue. Man did I love World of Warcraft. Also I have to be completely honest: if all my friends jumped back in, I probably would, too, at least for a month or two. They won't, though, so I've got nothing to worry about. Phew!
  22. Sno: I actually don't like Star Fox 64 at all. I played it for the first time on 3DS and was booooooooooored out of my mind. I think that kind of gameplay just isn't for me. Which is sad to say, 'cause I'm usually open to anything, but you gotta hit a wall somewhere, I guess! (I haven't played the original Star Fox, but I probably wouldn't like it, either.) Haha, I also had this thought. But I prefer to think he's just taking his mistake and rolling with it hardcore, which I greatly respect.
  23. Life

Last night when I want to bed: "I'm going to ride my bike tomorrow!" This morning when I woke up: "Why is it raining? Why don't I check these things before I go to sleep? (Also, I guess I should get some RAINWEAR." Ten minutes ago: "Well, I missed the train I normally walk to and now have to wait an hour." Now: "Blehhhhhhhhhhhh." D: I'll look into getting a pulse watch! Sounds like a good way to pace myself!
  24. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Heh yeah. A friend of mine asked me to bring up the possibility of a mobile Animal Crossing to the place I work, and I immediately shot him down. Fact is, many free-to-play mobile games already share a lot of qualities with Animal Crossing. They're just much more stingy with the currency you accrue, because they want to encourage people to pay. And, yeah, they're very in-your-face about it. It's awful. ):
