Yeah I think Amalur was a fantastic game for the most part. Just had some big flaws that I was confident would be addressed in the next game. And then the developer died. Bah.

Huh, I DID do all the sidequests and it took me 58 hours according to Steam. Although I suppose that might be affected by the game being too fucking easy if you do all the sidequests, 'cause you're always over-leveled.

FACT: I prefer all of the clones to their originals. Maybe the one exception is Ganondorf, although I still like him more, I just wish they'd made him more original. What I'm getting at is I'll be annoyed yet again when Ike is replaced by some other Fire Emblem character I don't care about. Just like I was with Roy. Marth is BORING. Also bring back Dr. Mario. ):

I enjoyed not giving a fuck and then I played Bounty Hunter in the full practice game with bots and got two divine rapiers before the game accidentally ended and then I turned on sv_cheats to win the next four practice bot games. U: The Limited Heroes mode is pretty nice, though. Small selection of heroes, and pretty much all of 'em quick to pick up and learn on the fly.

Hah you can pet the pokemans. Nice. I like those animations. This'll be the first Pokemon game I get in years. Mostly because I am always commutin' these days, but also mostly because I want to see if I'd still enjoy it.

In most cases, sure, but if you know my Steam name and know I like Idle Thumbs, well, 2 + 2 ~= 4. Portfolio! That's a good point, although... I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to share. I loved this, because I've long wanted a series of extremely short stories all told within the same mechanical context, and this did exactly that in a world that I already love (I mean, as much as you can love misery, you know what I mean, ha ha, what). Yes. I wonder if it's possible for no one to end up going to the camp. Shel is the only one who didn't go to the camp in my game. Along with her sister, obviously. Within that lies my one real problem: in some cases it's pretty obvious which choices would lead to a given character deciding not to go. I can see where I went wrong with Shel. I should've grabbed the keys instead of the gun... Russel probably would've decided to not go to the camp if I'd backed up Nate. Bonnie isn't quite as obvious, maybe if I'd told the truth, she wouldn't have even made it to the camp, because she'd have been abandoned/killed later on? I dunno. Wyatt, maybe if I'd stayed in the car (i.e., won rock paper scissors, which was an awesome way to "choose" the path there, 'cause it was a choice completely out of my control). Vince... actually I have no idea with Vince. I ended up shooting off the convicted rapist's foot, because I'd rather not risk being wrong about that and getting stuck with a rapist as my Buddy. I didn't even really think about it there. Maybe there it was just as arbitrary as who you choose to shoort. U: That was all quite rambly and probably sorta incomprehensible and I kind of changed my mind halfway through. WELP. SORRY. I guess the way you talk to them as a group at the end affect that, as well.

What about the multiplayer mode? I want to dig through the entire house with all of my ghost buddies!

I had my first coffee in a week this morning. MY GOD. SO DELICIOUS. I wish I could appreciate black coffee so I could get all overexcited and purchase a coffee press or whatever they're called and start buying good coffee beans and stuff. I hope it is permanent, because I love the people here. ... Also I've been working from home all week because of the BART strike but I decided to come in today and was an hour and a half late because FUCK CALTRAIN and... There's nobody here. Haha, the coffee shop I go to every morning before work, one of the workers asked me if I play Animal Crossing. YES INDEEDY I DO, MISS BARISTA. I suspected for a while that at least one person there had a 3DS, and now it's been confirmed! Street/Spot Pass is kinda rad.

I haven't played Symphony of the Night but that's just because I don't much care for Castlevania.
