I never had any issues, and you're only the second person (not including your friends) I've heard of having any issues. And the other guy was also on a forum like this. Granted, I don't follow gaming news outside of forums like this, but I have a ton of friends who played the game. We all got through fine. So... What I'm saying I guess is just because you have the issue doesn't mean it's widespread or super common, and that's probably why it was never reported on?

Yeah but it's weird. That's my number one issue with the system as they have it implemented. The random booster pack drops are nice, but I've been informed that people with higher steam level are more likely to get those booster packs, which just means people who have all the badges keep getting all the badges.

Those are great. I don't really like the game, but I love the aesthetics and damn those are great.

Fuck Hammerfight. Buggy as hell, the mission I quit on the dudes I was trying to protect kept dying of their own volition (physics bugs, I assume), resulting in my failure. Worse: when they didn't, I couldn't do any damage to the big worm thing I was fighting because I DON'T KNOW WHY??? I was hitting it with my mace. I had one run that was going really well. I wasn't getting hit at all, and I kept hitting the worm, and then all of a sudden the worm crashes in to me and ONLY THEN do I notice that its health bar hasn't diminished at all from my mace. But it did from ramming me! What. The. Fuck.

I didn't play much Source, but only because we all stopped playing DoD period. From what a friend tells me, it's largely the netcode that ruined Source, but all I have on that is his words. DoD was my first true competitive multiplayer love, though. Wasn't until years later when I found it again in TF2. And now Dota 2. U:

Yeah those are all fantastic ideas for a sequel and would definitely pique my interest, as an only-on-a-rare-occasion fan of CS. I guess the problem is they never said CS:GO was supposed to be CS2. In fact, they explicitly said it wasn't. Which is weird. Why do they keep wasting time not making a real sequel? LAME!!! But also more importantly why do they keep wasting time on Counter-strike when Day of Defeat is infinitely superior.

YEARGH finding a new apartment is the worst thing. At least this time I'm not going into San Francisco completely lacking knowledge on what is and isn't a good neighborhood. I also now know how the public transportation system all works. BUT. I STILL HATE APARTMENT SEARCHING. ): And this time I'll have to live alone, unless I want to chance it with some people looking for roommates on craigslist. I... don't really want to. But I also can't really afford to live alone. Gahhhhhh.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I finally finished that "under four hours" run of Magicka I started about a month after the game came out! It also made me want to play the DLC that I never played. D: For Hotline Miami, though, I'm just idling in the game. I've beaten that game to a bloody pulp. It has nothing left to offer me. (I await Hotline Miami 2 with bated breath.)

Well, that's true. But I don't think anyone expected it to succeed in that regard, even Valve. At least, they'd be crazy if they did. Everyone's babies and refuses to move on from old shit.
