ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

Basically I made this whole thing happen when you think about it. -
I just like music. I'm willing to listen to anything, and as of yet there is not a genre I've found that I can't find something I like in it. But I'm weird. U:

That's how I feel, too. And I'm okay with that. Man, what a funny episode. LOVED IT.

uplay is pretty godawful isn't it

I was actually just using the amount of money it costs to buy a set of cards from the market. But I know that's not really a valid measurement. Anyway the point is money.

Each badge costs about a dollar... I'll give it sixty on average. $1.60, Valve gets a ten percent cut. $0.16, 1.4 million badges. $224,000 total. Certainly not bad for the effort they've put forth. Almost literally nothing, though, for a company the size of Valve. Still, nice.

I did consider it but there's literally nothing I hate more in forum culture than someone signing their name at the end of a forum post. Maybe someone using colored text. Actually yeah that's number one. ...Feminism, woo!

Confession: I do that frequently when I leave an IRC chatroom. IT'S FUN! Don't judge me. ):

Agreed. That's why I use what the crap was that search engine called again?! "site:www.idlethumbes.net/forums/ [query]" -
Damnit Tycho! I wanted to do that. ): How dare you have more motivation to follow through on your dreams of glory than I do. Anyway it's great. NICE.

I wish I had remembered to bring my mouse with me to my parents'. I'm already bored and this is the perfect opportunity to finish my project. Boo! -
I'll probably give in some day and get a tablet. ):

Last thing I want is to read on an LCD screen when I don't have to!

Comixology is useless to me until a high quality color e-ink screen exists and I can put my Comixology purchases on the device that uses said screen. ):

i c wut u did thar (i'm inordinately excited because i haven't said THAT stupid thing in a LONG time - WELCOME TO 2014!!!) -
It is an achievement! It's the Blizzard sort of innovation, iterating and slowly evolving, ever so slowly, so they know for sure what does and doesn't work, with an absolutely enormous level of effort going into polish and presentation. Definitely an achievement, but one worth celebrating over a game that actually tried something new? Not in my opinion.

Depends on where you live!

EASY. SLEEP. Not having to breathe would certainly be nice, but also potentially frightening because then someone could bury you alive and you'd have to keep living until you died of thirst! SO MUCH LONGER, THE SUFFERING!

Path of Exile: It's pretty much a Diablo 2 sequel, but it's not Diablo 3!
Twig replied to Niyeaux's topic in Video Gaming
On the other hand, I do appreciate the irony that I, as someone who only plays hardcore mode in these kinds of games, would complain about being punished by lack of respeccing. I ain't perfect! -
So Last of Us, a game that is the same kind of game that's existed for many years - albeit very polished and high quality - will have more impact on the games industry than Gone Home, a game that is infinitely more unique and groundbreaking (at least as far as the games industry goes!). HM. Well now I'm just spouting my own opinions, which is another matter entirely. But also it means that, even given that guideline, I think it's wrong to choose LoU over GH. Wokka wokka.

I regret starting yet another internet argument about objective (critical) vs. subjective (personal) reviews. WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! (Actually this one has brought up some unique points I haven't actually seen before. Nothing that's changed my mind, but hurray for new things!) My biggest problem really is that it just feels like he's pandering for his IGN audience, as some have said. I really, really don't want to accuse him of such, because I think that's one of the worst kind of accusations you can make - essentially accusing him of lying! But it does feel that way, and it bothers me.

Twig replied to Niyeaux's topic in Video Gaming
That's assuming the game allows you to work around those choices if they later prove to be a horrible mistake. Also, you could do what you want to do even if respeccing existed. Besides, you originally said, "You really need to plan ahead." That's different from living with your mistakes. An even worse situation: you spec for one playstyle, because you think it sounds really cool, and it later turns out to be something you don't enjoy at all. Doesn't matter if it's optimal or not, if you're not finding it FUN, then it's a problem. Having to restart from the beginning hampers experimentation and, in many cases, enjoyment.
