I actually did have a dream about food last night! Wasn't very vivid though. And I only remember one thing. I poured myself a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch but had no milk and so didn't eat the cereal. ):

Hm all right. I thought they were one-time use programs. Maybe only if they die. Welp.
-
But what about my ESPs?
-
Hah. Well unlike Limbo of the Lost, this is a legitimately good game outside all the bullshit.
-
The cooldown ability? OH. The one that reduces alarm status? I admit I've never used it, because I have no idea what that even means. Where do I see what level the alarm is at? U: Maybe I'm just dumb. U: I'll give it one more shot on Normal and then switch to Easy if I fail again.
-
Hahah, props to you for being able to joke about it. That's pretty great.
-
Huh. That's weird. If there's one problem I didn't have with the game, it was stability. Never crashed or did anything weird for me! I'm so "lucky"!
-
I feel like they're all the same. But Limbo is slightly worse then Limbo.
-
So I tried that. And ended up doing pretty well. UNTIL (i mean spoilers i guess) Really frustrating. It's like the difficulty curve for me did one of these: _______| I know I suck at these kinds of games. Always been much more of a twitch gamer. But EURHGHHGHHH.

Well if they're not all displayed at the same RELATIVE size that doesn't really matter, does it? I mean I may be wrong, but I see a lot of tiling in the ground texture, and I see none in the sky, which seems to imply that even though the texture size is the same, they're displayed differently. (I once knew the proper terms for these things, but I've since forgotten them.)

I am objectively Ryan Garry! Nappi is only subjectively Ryan Garry. -
I came CLOSE to spitting coffee on my keyboard. This is such a great idea I want someone to make it.
-
Yeah I like the IDEA of the sky and water looking like that, but the geometry of the terrain makes it look jarring and weird. Maybe that's your intention, I dunno. I'm not a huge fan though. U: Then again like elmuerte said it could just be the ground texture. It does seem to be much more detailed than anything else. EDIT: That said, I liked the sky a lot more in the first screenshot, with the diner.

God we're just a bunch of awful people, aren't we, to let this shit happen? Yeesh.
-
It's not like this thread is active otherwise! What about Spain makes these things happen? I admit I'm not well versed in most European cultures, but is Spain just a terrible place to live or something? So people deal with that by making fun of how shitty life can be? I don't know, just random guessing here.
-
Haha wow. I had no idea that was such a problem in Spain. That's awful. U: Side note: I went for cheesemints because I find them enjoyable enough in this kind of game. Also more accurately because they were built in challenges in the game. Anyway I got them all except two: 5000 enemy kills and 10000 enemy kills. What kind of shitty cheesemint design allows me to earn every single one without even getting half of the kills I need for the most vrindy cheesemint in the game? I wonder, is the multiplayer any good?

Is that a thing

It's not my fault I can't buy those games anywhere. (Actually I have no qualms about pirating games that aren't for sale anymore but this is the brothers thread guys ):

ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

I actually just meant that a community might form that truly believes objective game reviews are the only game reviews that matter. Sort of like already exists (as evidenced in many comment threads on IGN, etc.), but without a website to mold and shape said community. So if you DID add that switch one day, it'd be fascinating to watch those people scream and rant about how you've ruined everything. You're familiar enough with the internet to realize that everything ain't roses and butterflies. No matter how clear you make your intentions, someone's bound to get all up in a tizzy. -
That's amazing. I see that as more a reason to reexamine minimum wage (or whatever equivalent) than a reason basic income wouldn't/shouldn't/doesn't work. Also, regardless of the issues around deserving or not deserving the money, does it result in less poverty, less crime? Less sickness, less need for health care? Those are important things to examine (as Rodi did in his original post). Maybe even more important than some vague entitlement issue.
