  1. I hold everyone who couldn't make it personally responsible for all problems in my life!
  2. I am not feminine enough for these real life meetings. )';
  3. Yep. That's why it's ARDWWK. Always Rush Divine With Wraith King [on your team].
  4. I Had A Random Thought...

I just don't wear pants. Or underwear.
  5. Assassins Creed Unity

I just wanna know when they're gonna make an AC game that takes place in the time of the dinosaurs, when man was still caveman.
  6. I hope they keep serving food post 9 because I forgot to eat and now I'm on the bus to get on the train to get there.
  7. Free to play: The Movie

Honestly half of it just felt like a big advertisement for Dota 2, but not a very good one, because although it explains the very basics, it doesn't go much into it beyond that. But I also believe that they weren't really aiming for that - they wanted to tell the stories of those three players. I dunno. I didn't think it was bad or anything, but it definitely felt sorta all over the place.
  8. Amateur Game Making Night

Most people in the channel are more than willing to help if you ask for it. The only reason game dev chat isn't happening there is because no one initiates it, not because it's forbidden. Also if you want the Google Hangout to be a thing still, just promote it or something. I honestly thought it was dead long ago because no one ever even mentioned it after the first time it happened (beyond my putting a handy link in the IRC channel's topic).
  9. Free to play: The Movie

I was looking our for Sean but didn't see him. I totally would've done all that of my own volition, if I had.
  10. Dota Today 11: She's My Hard Support

Nope. BAN. And you know what while we're at it, everyone who gives up first blood? BAN. Hell, if you miss a last hit as a carry? BAN. If you forget to say "GG" at the end of the game? BAN. If the power goes out and you're unable to reconnect or even play another game in the next fifteen minutes to prove your computer is currently operational? BAN. BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN Every ban message comes with an additional message: "UNINSTALL RIGHT NOW, NOOB". If you don't uninstall, it VAC bans you and then bans all of your friends who play Dota 2.
  11. Yep I did! No problem. Also it was a good documentary. Followed up by a bunch of audience members asking absolutely inane questions!
  12. Feminism

There's Phantom Assassin and Legion Commander, though, at least*. And Windrunner, though she wears a low-cut shirt, does not have enormous breasts! Medusa is just a monster lady. So is Naga. Broodmother is a spider. I think Death Prophet's pretty all right. That's all I got though. The rest are awkward. Crystal Maiden, Lina, Drow Ranger, Mirana, Templar Assassin, Luna. *They do suffer from breasty-breastplate syndrome, but at least not to the degree that most typical fantasy garbage does. I'd argue that Valve is actually pretty good in this regard. Where they fail (though in part due to "pulling from Dota 1" syndrome) is that there are waaaaaaaay fewer females than males.
  13. Is anyone going to the Free to Play premiere tonight? I already asked in that thread, but figured I'd ask here, too. I'm going ALL BY MYSELF and I don't want to be lonely. Though I have no idea if seats are assigned or first-come.
  14. Feminism

She's not freezing in a blizzard. She IS the blizzard!
  15. Free to play: The Movie

Is anyone else going to the premiere tonight? I've managed to obtain a ticket (from a friend who thought he'd be here for it, but ended up having to come to SF a day late for GDC), so I'll be going. BY MYSELF! ):
  16. It's entirely readable if you maximize the video!
  17. Dreams!

Today I had a raging headache for most of the day. Somewhere in the middle, I decided to take a nap after popping some pills in my mouth. So I went to sleep and had what I'm pretty sure was a lucid dream where I visited japan with my brother. I have a distinct memory of being in direct control of everything. Which is a thing I'm PRETTY sure has never happened to me before. I'm always jealous of people who speak of lucid dreams. Well, anyway... I was like, "hey, bro, let's eat here" at some random restaurant in Japan. And then "you know, I know this is a dream, and I can do anything i want, watch" and then I smashed a customer's head into a display window, and it shattered and he just walked away like nothing happened. And then I was like "this is boring, there's no consequences for anything I do", and then I looked at a waiter and said "child of light" and waved my hand at the window and it fixed itself. And then I said "nightmare of doom" and waved my hand at the waiter and he exploded in flames. And then I said "i'm going to wake up now" and woke up. I don't know why my default behavior to prove I was in control of my dream was to do something psychotic. I also have no idea why I chose the phrase "child of light, nightmare of doom", which was said all at once. That was weird.
  18. I've never met anyone who claimed to like Single Draft and wasn't lying through their teeth, so now we know nj00s is a big liar.
  19. Man. Now I just miss Cartoon Network.
  20. anime

I've been watching it recently, too. Well, I watched the first two episodes and then stopped. It seems good. I'm annoyed by the lack of a hi-def version on Crunchyroll.
  21. No, I wouldn't say that, either. Just that it's part of why I'm finding it so enjoyable right now.
  22. Agreed, I don't think age has anything to do with it. Well, I'm sure it's relevant for some people's experiences, but not mine. I have a lot of friends my ages, some younger, who are way into The Simpsons. I just never watched it because my parents wouldn't let me when I was young. I remember sneaking in a Halloween episode once because my friends at school talked about how awesome the Halloween episodes were (this must've been in like 4th or 5th grade, maybe a little older?), and my parents caught me and grounded me from TV for a while. Good times! Anyway, I just never got into The Simpsons once I was old enough for them to stop caring. And yeah, that's what's making Seinfeld so funny for me. Most of the problems they face are so dated, and would likely never be a problem today. I love it. Re: South Park: I don't just not watch South Park. I think it's dumb and I don't WANT to watch it.
  23. I've been watching Seinfeld lately and I think it's pretty fucking hilarious so there's that! (I have slightly more past-experience with Seinfeld than I do with The Simpsons. But not much more. Just slightly.)
