I've been really, like, hurting for music lately. Couldn't decide what I wanted to listen to. Things I know I love, I'm just sorta tired of listening to. I found something new, though... I get so excited when I find new music I love. I'm excited. !

Wilson. The best part about Wilson (besides his Ghoulish Countenance) was during things like the Halloween episodes when he'd dress up in a costume and you still couldn't see his face. I can't remember specifically what he dressed up as or where he positioned himself. I just remember that you never saw his face. It was the best of gags. It was the worst of gags.

Haven't seen Kuroko, yet, but I plan to. Been watching Yowamushi Pedal, though, and it's great! I'm at the training camp arc! EVERY SPORTS ANIME IS THE SAME AND I CAN'T GET ENOUGH!! My first sports anime was Eyeshield 21. I actually wouldn't mind rewatching it, but it's super long so I doubt I will.

It is interesting and it definitely makes some sense. It also just shows how much of a societal limitation incest is (which, of course, developed because it results in poor genetic development in offspring). But I guess that's a different discussion. To expand on it a little, the exceptionally creepy part is that it's almost always a LITTLE sister, which also taps into the gross pedo angle that so many anime employ. The gross pedo angle is something that can be hilariously creepy (ymmv), as in Azumangah Daioh, but when it's treated as a totally normal Thing that just happens in Japan, it's absolutely repulsive. Man... In other news, Nanana's Buried Treasure is something I've grown to really enjoy. The main character is a bit of a pervert and a bit of an asshole, but not in a totally repulsive way. It's a lot more believable and... I dunno, almost charming than I expected it to be. And of course he's hunting for magical treasures on a constructed island to help a dead girl's ghost pass on. I mean, I'm really liking it a lot. It's definitely near the top of my favorites for the season. It's got plenty of likable characters and an interesting premise and a fun plot. I recommend it. (Full disclosure, MC has a crush on an adoptive older-sister figure, but it's a lot more believable and less weird than the imouto nonsense we've been talking about. At least, I think it is.)

Nah I think she's talking more about people who ping-spam. What you're talking about, Henroid, is perfectly fine, but sometimes people will just ping a thousand times a minute because they're assholes. Usually I ask them to stop, and then they ping me nonstop until I mute them, and then I just get pings every few seconds, or whatever the rate is. I wish it would mute pings entirely. I understand why it doesn't, by default, but at least give me the option. I've considered modding the ping sound effect to be silence, but that's a pretty drastic measure for something so useful when used properly. ):

Ehhhhhh it's really hard as a creator to be able to see something that might be obvious to an outsider. I'm not saying they shouldn't have had some other step to bullet-proof their marketing, but if someone tells you before you see the image that it's going to be of an Asian with blonde hair lording over another Asian, you are definitely more inclined to see the Asian. They probably failed in not having a blind test with some test subjects somewhere, or something. I just find it kind of iffy to blame a creator for not seeing something that they never intended in the first place. FWIW, I always thought the dude looked Asian (because I've seen Asians with clothes/hair like that before), but I also would've been willing to accept that he was a white dude with rebellious-Asian hair-style and attire. I didn't even consider he COULD be white until after I started reading this thread. But I don't blame anyone for seeing white dude because that's what we're trained to see more often than not. I also disagree that their goal was to shock. But I guess no one will ever know for sure, unless they come out and say that was their intention. (Obviously they'd never lie about that, but they might lie by saying they DIDN'T intend, and of course they're never going to say they DIDN'T intend.) La dee da this is all dumb. Really? Did they change it? Mann Co store definitely used to sell the weapons with actual new mechanics. That's the whole reason it started. Back before community made weapons and all that jazz, people were allegedly just asking to be able to buy the items instead of unlocking them through cheesemints. Dota store definitely never been game-affecting, as I'm sure you're well aware, but I figured I'd say it just for the sake of saying it.
