I regularly play with a 3-5 stack and almost never run into a group of random people. It does happen sometimes, and sometimes they destroy us. X: Probably because we're a very wide range of MMRs and the enemy team is built using our average + party bonus. BUT THAT'S NEITHER HERE NOR THERE.

Haha yeah that's a weird localization. I don't think My Neighbor Seki-kun is at all an awkward title in English. Works perfectly fine in context. ...That said, I don't think I would've tried it without a recommendation based on that title. "Master of Killing Time" is immediately more interesting to me, and that's the only reason I checked it out. SO MAYBE THEY DID RIGHT.

On Crunchyroll there is: Nanana's Buried Treasure, Mushishi, Jojo, Mekakucity Actors, and The World Is Still Beautiful. Also Haikyu!! is one of the better sports anime although not everyone's into that sort of thing. There are a few more I'm watching, but nothing of that quality (although YMMV as always) and/or super long-running anime that you already know about and have decided not to watch already. Anyway Mushishi is better than literally any other anime, so Crunchyroll wins. Also Nanana is quickly becoming my favorite New Anime for this season. And by quickly, I mean it has been for a while.

It was put on Reddit once already and taken down because I think tegan would prefer if you didn't link to her tumblr directly based on what just went down in IRC. People can be assholes, and it'd be nice if those assholes didn't have a target in her tumblr. (I don't want to speak for her, but better safe than sorry.)

I'm glad other people disagreed with the "Lycan is best jungling" sentiment because I was afraid I might be crazy.

Um I jungle with LC fine, and I don't need to be level ten. Like most "jungle" characters, she's much better in lane but her jungling is quite easy. One of the easier junglers I think. Lycan's also fine in lane. He definitely doesn't need jungle to farm properly.

If they really do go full on cheese and let me play as random characters in specific games, I'll be super into it, I suspect.

I think that kind of thing, Gormongous, is just people biting back in the easiest way possible. They're upset because people are criticizing the things they love, and they know the quickest way to make the other side upset is to toss out some random bullshit to antagonize. Which of course makes them assholes. Which of course makes me an asshole sometimes. Bjorn's probably the most correct in that it's a little bit of everything, though. To wrap it back around to a more optimistic note (...sort of), I definitely think things will improve, and are improving (however slowly), and will eventually not be a significant problem anymore. It might even happen in our lifetime! ...But probably not. I suspect it'll take a couple generations. At which point we'll have met another alien civilization and we can take our hatred of That Which Is Different to a whole new level.

Yeah I'm not at all optimistic about Hyrule Warriors. But I feel I should at least try the genre once before fully committing to writing it off forever. And at least I'll get some really stupid and awful and probably offensive, 'cause why not Zelda story while I'm at it.

RPS comments always end up like that for a while after they post an article about Issues in Gaming. But there are at least some people, maybe even an even number of people, who counter that. Well, last time it happened anyway. That said, something I don't like about this is when we accuse those people of being "scared of change". I don't think that's it at all - at least not for all of them. They're just ignorant. They side with the developer because they like the games and don't recognize that the issue is, indeed, a real issue. They're aggressive about these things, not because they're afraid of change, but because they don't believe it's necessary and they're sick of seeing people talk about something they don't believe is a real problem. I assume that often enough the comment is a sarcastic one, meant to belittle (and rightfully so!), but I see it enough that I can't imagine there doesn't exist someone who actually believes it. Maybe I'm completely wrong, maybe they are just afraid of change. I know that that was never the case for me personally before I joined the illustrious Educated Folk, but I've also always been pretty weird in all facets of my existence, so that's not really indicative of anything.

I'm actually honestly sort of interested in Hyrule Warriors. I've never played a Dynasty Warriors/Musou game before and don't know how much I'd actually enjoy one, but if there's anything that'd convince me to finally try one, it's this. ...Or, preferably, one starring Wario and Waluigi.

It's a video game, and on top of that a rather funny video game. I don't think anyone's looking at Portal and thinking, "Oh, that's how they do it!" I mean Portal 2 even has a long-running joke about stupid grade school science fair projects about potatoes.

But what if I wanted to do it now! I mean, the feature might not even be ready for a month or more, at this point! (DON'T DO IT EVER IT'S THE WORST.)

To be fair, I think people are shitting on the first book retroactively because the later books fall apart so fantastically. It's like a "hey, this got bad... but I wonder if it was already bad?" And then when they re-examine, they're actively looking for bad things instead of just reading casually. So, it's a deserved hatred, but maybe misdirected. I don't know if I'd call it tasteless, though. (I also have no intention of reading this, because it DOES seem rather pointless.) At any rate, books! Hurray books! Brandon Sanderson reportedly took the Wheel of Time series and made it actually good again (at least, relative to the last few books Jordan wrote before he passed away), which is an impressive feat if true, so I'm willing to buy into his own series not being terrible!

Unless you're proposing that taterdactyl waits, in which case I wasn't seriously suggesting it, starting A to Z is the worst decision I've ever made IN MY ENTIRE LIFE MAKE IT END OH GOD.

I'm willing to bet Destiny is one of those few games people WILL still be playing (provided it doesn't end up being complete dog shit).

do the a to z and hate yourself as you approach the end because you want so desperately to be done but you know you've got at least 20-30 games left it's fuuuuuuun .. .
