To be honest, the only thing that disgusts me is that they'll do this but they won't bring in other Nintendo franchises to extend and enhance the full-on wackiness. Where's my Tingle death stare? But yeah I don't really have any problem with shit like this, as long as it doesn't break the balance of the game. EDIT: I looked at the image beyond a cursory glance and decided I'm also disgusted because it doesn't appear to have been stylized to fit the game at all. Shame.

Well I decided to go explore the Duke's Archives more (i.e. past the crystal golem that got me into Oolacile) and I am not a fan of this place. It's very boring and I don't like how every other room looks the same with walls lined with books. Also I have no idea what I'm supposed to do for Seath. He does an AOE attack that covers the entire arena and I die and then he put me in jail so I was like "oh I'm supposed to die maybe the fight will be different next time" and then I found my way back through the library and the same thing happened. I also hate New Londo because it's dark and I can't see anything and I hate nothing more in a video game. Though I haven't gone very deep into it past the point of opening the floodgates. That leaves Catacombs and the demon world that I haven't tried yet. So far I'm really disappointed with the latter half of the game. I mean I like Oolacile a lot, but those two bosses are just utterly destroying me. Mrrrhhh.

I can't beat either Kalameet or Manus, Hand of Fate. I feel like I don't even have a chance on either. I can hit Kalameet a few times before I die and I can hit Manus a bunch as long as I manage to summon Sif, but then he starts casting his magic after a while and that's when I lose (I have the silver pendant!). Up until this point, I've done everything on my own (save Knight Astoria, who I think I could've managed on my own eventually, but decided to summon some help, which worked out well) and with the same build (one hand on shield, one hand on uchigatana). I don't know if I should just switch to two-handed? I've gotten used to blocking most attacks, so I'm worried adapting to full on rolling at this point will be too hard. I suppose I could be fighting them too soon, but it more just feels like these bosses are exceptionally difficult, pattern-wise. Especially Manus' ridiculous five hit combo that I can never dodge because the first attack is super fast. Kalameet just kills me because I have trouble hitting him. Help!

I actually like Phil Fish and agree with his opinions on most things! My point was he's yet again expressing a controversial opinion which yet again riles up the internet which yet again makes anyone who doesn't hate him a temporary target, as it were, should they bother to express that they don't, in fact, hate him.

I played a couple hours of The Bureau and had a lot of fun. I didn't go back to it because I just wasn't in the mood to play a shooter of any sort, but I definitely plan to go back to it some day. You're not the only one. SHANI 4 LYFE But I actually liked Triss a lot more in W2 than I did in W1. Also I just realized I called her Trish in my last post. Shame on me. I've been really bad with names of video game characters lately!

Can you actually have sex with anyone that isn't Trish in Witcher 2? I want to say yes but I can't remember any... Well whatever. Witcher 2 is infinitely better about it than Witcher 1, yes. Still not perfect, but well the rest of the game is so good for me that I am willing to look past the flaws.

Let's Plays are basically the MST3k/Rifftrax of video games (except video games are interactive experiences, so it's not a perfect comparison - but it is the closest). People would rightly be upset if Rifftrax started selling the movie with their commentary overlaid on it without permission, and yet people who do Let's Plays get away with exactly that all the time. It IS kind of ridiculous. When Nintendo tried to shut down LPs a while back, I didn't much care, because they're a giant corporation and they get tons of money elsewhere. But when small indie devs who make less money than this annoying pewdiepie guy start complaining, I think we're obligated to listen. Too bad it's Phil Fish so the message is once again lost.

Merus: This video is really good. Thanks for relinking it. I had it open from the previous page and accidentally closed the tab at some point and probably would have forgotten to watch it altogether. Anyway this video is really good. It's a lot of things I've been saying about the whole Phil Fish debacle for a long time, so maybe I just think it's good because it's confirming a lot of what I believe, but whatever. What a disgusting mess this all is.

The fact that pewdiepie is making any money to begin with is enough to make me want to ragequit life. What an annoying human being that person is. Anyway Phil Fish yet again makes it harder for people who were on his side to stay on his side.

I think my vote for most disappointing anime this season goes to Rowdy Sumo Wrestler Matsutaro. I wanted to like it because I figured it'd be a fun sumo romp. Instead the main character is just a douchebag and has shown literally no remorse for any of his actions so far. And most episodes are pretty boring, just following Matsutaro around as he does whatever the hell he pleases and everyone else tries to talk him down from beating up some random old man or whatever.

I like when that guy compares Far Cry 2 to Marmite. Nice. NICE.
