It's definitely possible but I don't think the explanation is as simple as that. Granted, I don't have a complicated explanation, either. It just strikes me as a really strange thing to bother being that coordinated about, given that only 30 people from each group (which undoubtedly have hundreds of thousands of people each, if not more) actually win, and they only win three games. What a bizarre system.

I didn't want the weapons to use them, really. Just to have them. My build was a one handed uchigatana and a medium shield (of whatever type of defense I needed - or the grass crest shield for the stamina regen), plus eastern armor. It wasn't anything special. In combat I used a mix of blocking and rolling. I used the pharis bow when it made sense. I started dipping into pyromancy near the end, but not for bosses. As I was nearing the end of the game I couldn't wait for it to be over. It took me about 55 hours? But now that it's over I want nothing more but to play more. I'm hoping DS2 has a daily or flash sale. I've heard it's not as good as DS1 for various reasons, but I don't think that'd stop me from enjoying it to its fullest.

I did it! I beat Dark Souls! I even beat Manus and Kalameet! Kalameet was actually really easy once I realized that unlike most big bosses, it's ideal to stay AWAY from him as much as possible and hit him after specific attacks instead of trying to stay under him and dish out as much damage as possible. Also, I laughed out loud when I realized my reward for beating him was a ring that makes me take twice as much damage. Nice game! I wish I'd been able to get more of the tail weapons. I think I missed three. Seath, Priscilla, and Kalameet. That's what NG+ is for I guess? I don't know. I started NG+ and made it through the Asylum in like five minutes and then quit. I dunno if I care enough to play through the game over again, but that was a fun way to prove I'm not complete shit at the game, anymore, at least.

You shut your goddamn mouth RIGHT NOW.

I'm in the pro-Mii camp. Seems silly to be upset about it.

I thought people generally liked that movie!

And now green team's in the lead by a HUGE margin already. I have no idea how the logic works here. I haven't been team-switched yet so I don't think they're doing any random shuffling. Maybe they are and I'm just "lucky", I don't know.

Yeah I also very strongly agree with this. The sales events were fun treasure hunts once. Now they're boring collectathons. I mean... in the end both accomplish the same thing: getting people to spend more money. But they used to be much more fun. I still regret not getting the level three treasure hat for TF2 to this day! Well, okay, a little anyway.

Warning: most people find that the Dune books grow worse and worse as the series progresses. I liked the first book when I read it many years ago! I feel like I read a couple more at some point, but I can't remember them.

I agree with JonCole very strongly. I have nothing to say that he hasn't already, so I'll just leave it at that. Haha, no, you can craft the badge as many times as you want. Scroll down to see what I think the current highest discovered badge. http://www.steamcardexchange.net/index.php?gamepage-appid-303700

Oooh nice call. I'd be so into that.

It may be a bug. They recently changed the icons.

Man I haven't thought of Custom Robo in a long time. I loved playing the Gamecube version's competitve multiplayer with my friends. It was so good.

It was fun when they turned it into a treasure hunt where you actually had to play games. I agree that this is really dumb.

Yeah that's what I thought too, but red team was in last place by a lot yesterday, and looks like it has no chance of losing today. Purple went from first to second place. But yeah they basically turned shopping into a competition. But... only 30 people on the winning team get those free games, so really no one cares. Crafting badges can also get you items to switch teams or steal points from other teams. I think some other things. It's definitely bizarre.

You definitely could.

I don't think anyone said the reception to FC2 was universally so-so. More that it was a very divisive game, even among people who generally like FPS. I don't think anyone said the reception to FC3 was universally positive. More that it is a much easier game to like, among people who generally like FPS. EDIT: Actually Thrik said exactly that. I missed his post because it was on the previous page. I RETRACT ALL STATEMENTS. I WILL FOREVER LEAVE THE INTERNET AS PUNISHMENT.

Well, the Slardar forcing himself mid was really stupid. But people should roam to gank mid as often as possible. Usually the supports of course, unless you're going to commit to a push afterward, but that's beside the point!

That's a fair point, but I do believe if we could hypothetically change their release order, FC3's style of gameplay would have been more popular at the time than FC2's was. By pretty much everyone's admission, FC2 is a fucking weird ass game, yeah? I dunno. Maybe I'm the crazy one!

Nah I'd already read that anyway Dewar, or skimmed it or something. It's no big deal. I'm just being a baby because I'm not a huge fan of most of these areas. I know where I missed the path, now. I'll get back to it soon enough. Gormongous: He definitely straight up murdered me a second time, heh. If you go back there after killing him later, the room's empty with some cool stuff I guess. (I spoiled myself a lot I guess.)
-
No I'm fighting him in the same arena. I just read up on it and I have to get to the crystal caves I guess. So I need to more thoroughly explore the archives, hah. I'll get back to it later. It's good to know I'm not SUPPOSED to fight him there because that would be the worst thing.

Phew I don't want anything from the main sale today. Well I'm sort of passively interested in Dynasty Warriors because I feel obligated to play one of those games some day, but I'm waiting until Hyrule Warriors for that.

I don't think it's crazy to say Far Cry 3 has a much broader audience than Far Cry 2. For better or worse.

Cool that sure motivates me to keep playing.
