What crazy alternate universe did you drop out of? Miffy: I own it and have tried to play it a couple times, and by tried I mean once it just wouldn't run and once I got bored at all the Star Wars crap I had to suffer through in the first ten minutes.

In some cases, there's a bit of a moral quandary about whether or not you're comfortable supporting the future endeavors of the accused. That's, of course, a personal matter, but it's still a very real concern for some people. That's probably where that comes from, if I had to guess.

I had another tab open with the name "Max" on the page somewhere, and then as I read Bjorn's post, I went from "Rabbid x Sam" to "Rabbid x Sam & Max" and then skipped over the "Fisher" and vomited a little in my brain. EDIT: It was the Feminism thread, and it was also Bjorn's post. Now I suspect this was intentional.

I also agree with that assessment. I think most people realize that's a problem with Comcast as a whole, and not with a specific person. It's why I don't necessarily like the way he asked for the call rep's name at the very end. That said, this guy went pretty far. Usually they give up much sooner. I sort of respect his persistence. I literally would not be able to take the part of either of the people in that call. Ryan is incredibly patient where I would've become super frustrated and angry, and the call rep is super persistent where I would've given up after fifteen seconds and gotten fired the next day.

To be honest, I also side with the "who cares about Ganondorf" group, BUT I think it'd be a real shame to drop him. He's a cool dude. I really wish they'd just start over with him and make him totally unique. Wonder if they'll swap him out for Skyward Sword's villain guy. Pretty-boy evil-face, or whatever his name is. Plus it'd be super weird to me for the Zelda franchise to only have two... wait, I guess they have three, with Zelda and Shiek now being completely separate. Nevermind? I think? Speaking of unique mechanics, I like that more characters seem to have those this time around. Rosalina and Luma's disconnect, Little Mac's power-up, Robin's ran-out-of-magic-time-to-use-sword. That kinda stuff is super cool and super fun and super super. undermind: I think shouting the spell names was just for show. They did a similar thing with Little Mac's video, didn't they? With Coach narrating each attack? I was actually sad when we saw gameplay and that didn't happen. Though, in the long run it's probably for the best, as you suggest. ):

That's incredible. I've honestly never experienced this. Granted, I always give the reason that I'm moving (because that's always the reason I'm disconnecting from any service), but it's almost always a very quick process. I've heard phone calls like this before. I don't know how they get away with it either. I've had Comcast before, too, and it was probably less than a five minute call to get it over with (call holding notwithstanding). Wow. I am surprised he didn't just ask for a superior. That's how this usually goes. And then they do it again. RANDOM THOUGH: What the hell is AOL even doing, anymore? Looks like they're basically... Yahoo?

Haha MAN. The whole time I was reading that paragraph I was like "did he make a typo when he said they cocked it up" because that all sounds great, and... then I got to the last three sentences and immediately understood. How strange they can do so many things so right and then fuck it up so gloriously despite that. (It's probably because female animations would take too much work AM I RIGHT UBISOFT oh yeahhh)

Fire Emblem's been super popular lately, with the 3DS release. I'm not really that surprised. I have almost literally zero interest, myself, but every single one of my friends who play video games and have a 3DS got really into it, not to mention all the people who aren't my friends!.
