Hey thanks for playing it and telling me stuff! For what it's worth, yeah, the level is really just a mishmash of testing things. I wanted to make sure a lot of those things would work in conjunction with each other. I'm working on a few more things, and then I'll be to the point where I can actually start making real levels instead of just a big test level. I also like the way the the enemy bounces on the springs! The player has clearly defined health now, so it's more obvious what's going on. And instead of dying instantly to most things, everything does one point of damage. Rampant unwarranted death will be less of a problem in the real game as levels will be more consciously designed. That crystal over the lava is the worst one I hate it. ): We've got another build we're almost ready to push out and that's exciting.

It's an interesting game, but unfortunately marred by the bartering mechanic. You have no indication what the right price is for buying things from people, and you can either end up pissing them off or giving away way too much money for no good reason.

Conceptually I think it's a great idea but it just doesn't pan out. I think a quicker game format with that setup would be best. Like a game that's guaranteed to not last more than twenty minutes at most. Some kind of scoring, like soccer or some shit. I dunno. But then I also wish Diretide would be reworked with its own specific map built for the mode (similar to Wraith Night and the New Year Beast, but still competitive instead of co-op).

Ability draft! Except I hate it because it's broken as fuck, and ends up being less fun for me than real Dota, even when I'm on a losing streak. Especially when? Whatever. Fuck video games! No but for real I'm actually pretty excited for ARDM. Looking forward to it!

Yeah but I think there aren't many. I believe most of the reaction here was people pre-reacting to what they expected to happen - an onslaught of FEMINISM WHOAA. Which probably speaks a lot of their character. To me, the full-body skin-tight suit is weirdly more overtly sexual than some arbitrary workout clothes. I love that Shulk outfit though. YUM. ABS. I've heard Mr. B before and do enjoy it! It's quite dumb! It's not as good for straight listening, though. Deltron 3030, Alestorm, Steam Powered Giraffe, Dr. Steel, those are all still really good for just listening to in the background (in my opinion), but Mr. B sorta loses most value when you're not explicitly paying attention to the lyrics.

I get it but my point was that they SHOULDN'T be legally accountable at all, even in the slightest. It is not their fault. They've done everything they should in providing parental control support. Anything beyond that, especially one that costs people who aren't children money is far beyond their responsibility. Some idiot parent might make a fuss, but some idiot parent is ALWAYS going to make a fuss. No matter how many obstacles they add, there's going to be something that slips through the cracks, because there always is.

This is good. I like it. Unrelated: Anyone who knows me knows I unabashedly love stupid-ass novelty music. The other day I discovered Steam Powered Giraffe. Apparently it falls under the musical genre "steampunk" which *vomit*, but whatever. They're sort of a show band but I like the music a lot. That probably says something about me. I can answer this! They believe that the vidya (god is that really a word people use) are being corrupted by the SJW conspiracy. That includes things like this Zoe Quinn "she had sex with journalists!!" nonsense, as well as the general "SJWs are ruining games by making them what they shouldn't be", and what they should be is basically the vidya for the people who already play the vidya. There's a vast conspiracy! SJWs don't actually care about the vidya; they only want to bring down anyone who likes the vidya! I think I got that right. I believe it's a combination of a bunch of white dudes afraid of change, afraid that the types of video games that exist today will go away, combined with a bunch of MRAs afraid of women, afraid that the matriarchy will come into power and murder all men.

I saw this coming a while ago when they first released their prototype video. Disappointing but also I didn't back it so I'm not losing anything here.
