I tested a thing and made a reply to a post with 22429 f's in it like ffffffffffffff but seemingly neverending. I figured there would be SOME sort of upper limit, but as of right now that does not appear to be the case. Also it (probably fortunately) did not auto-line-break so the f's just scroll right off the screen and there's no horizontal scrolling.

I sent an invite to both of you! Even you, James, with your hatred of all things beautiful. ):
-
I like monospace fonts. ): EDIT: Oh wow turns out I have ten invites too. I guess this is one of those "Google betas". I sent Chris one, does anyone else still need one or have they all been divvied out.

I do edit in a quote when that happens but also copy-pasting a quote is sort of a hassle because it works weirdly in the normal post editor. And if I go to advanced then what am I even looking at!!? Also it's only a star if you've posted in the thread! I think.

I don't know. I used to not do it because I didn't know that button existed. Maybe other people do it for the same reason or other reasons I'm unaware of or whatever.
-
Because not everybody opens threads by using the last unread post button, so when they open the latest page they are guaranteed to see it every time until a new page!
-
Most of my posts are completely vapid and often incredibly stupid to boot, so when they're accidentally the top of a new page, I feel inclined to apologize to the world in my own way.

Wait does Dota count? I play that every day and it's more like just a way of life at this point than anything else??

I actually really hate navigating this thing and I'm not sure why people like it. X: Give me an invite anyway?!

As a straight white dude I've long felt that way about the tumblr overkill table as an automatic reaction, because it's kind of insane??(?), but also if that kind of thing helps someone be comfortable with themselves, who am I to judge. I know I'm not comfortable with myself, and my labels are easy.

I have finished Eureka Seven: Ao and can confirm once and for all that it is!!!! not good. It does NOT manage to pull itself back together. It suffers from that typical "high school kid saving the world" nonsense but is exceptionally egregious about it, so that's "rad". Anyway. It's not good. Continues to look really good throughout, though! Now what to watch next... I am thinking Trigun. Wanna watch that through again and then watch the Badlands Rumble movie. Either that or catch up on all the currently-airing or aired-last-season anime that I've wanted to watch, 'cause I've sort of fallen behind. Orrrr tackle the Monogatari series, which I get the impression most people here don't like but I really liked the first one, Bakemonogatari. Hmmm.

Wow what? Jesus. Why would anyone go to a GB panel and not expect him to be there too.
-
Horrifying that that's pretty tame compared to what was actually happening. (Maybe still is? I don't know.) ):
-
I was really confused by that at first but then I realized they're not real ducks and felt awkward.
-
Don't watch Eureka Seven: Ao! That narrows it down for you, right?
-
Well against everyone's better judgment, I've continued watching Eureka Seven: Ao. Um I don't think this anime has any idea what it's doing. The story is just all over the place. I don't know if I'd call it boring, but I'd definitely call it messy. I just finished episode sixteen. I will probably go ahead and finish it because I want to see if it manages to pull itself together against all odds. Man what. (Also I wonder how much of it would make sense if I only remembered basically anything that happened in the original series.)

Sounds like your browser's broken! It should load more of the tweets and you just keep scrolling down. It was a good ending, but I feel like that guy will wake up tomorrow and see another thing that makes him upset and lash out again. At least, that's who I used to be. Bleh.
-
Oh shit I haven't watched any of the new episodes! Thanks for reminding me!

Post Your Game for Playtesting and Feedback!
Twig replied to Jason Bakker's topic in Game Development
Speaking of a new build: http://www.twigbits.com/wp-content/uploads/ijaspy/2014-09-05/Web.html Keys are a bit different than last time, but only by addition: Movement: Left and Right Arrow Keys Jump: Space or Z Shoot: Ctrl or X Activate Lever: Down Arrow Key Exit Level: R while alive, Any Key while dead You start in a hub. When you enter a level through one of those two doors, pressing R will kick you back to the hub. Dying will also kick you back to the hub (after pressing any key). Take the left door first, it's much easier, and you can see most of what's in the right door without having to experience an absurdly huge level. A couple things you probably shouldn't read for pure playtesting's sake, but whatever I'll tell you anyway: -
Hahaha I laughed out loud. Thanks for that.
-
Wow I had no idea both Slipknot AND Korn still existed.

We talk about this a lot in IRC, and we all agree those screenshots would be fucking hilarious if real people weren't getting hurt. How do people actually believe that? I actually watched a live conversation for a bit, and based on that... none of those screenshots are "out of context". Blech. It's disgusting.

It's called a restraining order, but that sort of thing is literally impossible to enforce over the internet. Anyone determined enough could use things like a combination of Tor and new accounts to avoid being easily tracked, etc. I, too, hope that it at least scares people from doing things, but it obviously won't scare everyone. I'm not all that optimistic.
