Fair enough, I will keep that in mind, thanks. And yeah I'm glad I didn't move in the middle of that season, at least. Also glad I have AC. Nowhere I've lived for the past five years (besides my parents' house!) has had AC. Heat yes, but no AC. Of course they didn't get anywhere near as hot, or consistently hot, as Dallas does.

OH HEY SOMEONE ALREADY IN DALLAS! Maybe you can tell me! I don't have a car right now (though will be getting one eventually, despite hoping never to need one again after living in SF for over a year where it was completely unnecessary). ): Anyway, it's probably going to be a couple months before I do. I'd rather not have to walk to the nearest grocery store in the heat I'm already hating after a little over half a week. Is there a good grocery delivery service? I live in what I believe is referred to as "Uptown".

I just went through the process to check before I made that post (although didn't fill out anything beyond selecting the bullet points), and it would've taken me a few minutes. But you're just confirming what I said, that the biggest issue is follow-up punishment (or, in your case, lack thereof).

Blocking is super fast and takes no effort. I've done it and it's literally like three clicks per person? Yeah I just checked. Four I guess if you count going to their profile page to do so. Reports can take a while, I guess, but not excessively long. Allegedly (because I wouldn't know), the problem is that you run out of reports pretty quickly, and for people like Zoe or Anita or Arbitrary Woman, that can be a matter of hours if you're being vigilant about it. And I've heard reports of account suspensions being revoked after a couple weeks. So, no, the main problem isn't that it takes too long to fill out the form.

I was hoping to get fiber at my new apartment in Dallas. But then I called Verizon and they said "we can't but AT&T can" and now I'm getting 10 up/down instead of the much-higher-at-reasonable-rates Verizon offered, but at least it's not cable shared with the whole apartment. And also I was supposed to get it this Friday, but then they changed it to Monday via email. Argh... Also AT&T forced a phone on me for free even though I said very specifically I only wanted internet. Awkward. I'll never use the phone.

Tiny dogs still worse. A lot of man hours, a LOT of man hours went into breeding those dogs as they are now, and not only are they annoying, they are, as tegan pointed out, riddled with health issues. So they didn't even do it right. Be better off starting from scratch and just genetically engineering tiny dogs that actually work right (and never, ever bark), and letting the current breeds die off. Is that cruel? YES. I am cruel. I hate them. Those dumb rubber sandal shoe things? Probably a couple hours, at most. (Disclaimer: I do not actually support tiny dog genocide.)

I legitimately hate legit emoticons. I was not joking when I said that. I think they're obnoxious and they annoy the hell out of me. I don't mind the wacky emoticons this forum has because they're rarely used and when they are, it's not to replace what is already perfectly functional. Outside of that context, yours look better.

I don't think his heart is in the right place at all. He acts as if the article is nothing but "gender politics", when it's really just one fucking paragraph. He's a dummy and all he wants to do is stay relevant by siding with the gamers. He might pretend the gaters are too extreme, but everything he says puts him right on their side every time.

This isn't extra work because they look better like that anyway. Only problem is you can't do colon-D. But D-colon no longer looks out of place and only fake-happy people do colon-D anyway.
