This is accurate and how I learned Unity as well. Video tutorials are the worst, but the Unity documentation is pretty great, and usually a specific issue will have a dozen or so Stack Overflow or equivalent answered questions.

I have hooked up Sublime Text 3 to my Unity, which is the best. On the rare occasion I need to do use breakpoints (I find that I almost never do when working in Unity for some reason?), I'll begrudgingly step out of Sublime. It's rare, though.

Is this the final chapter? Or will there be more? I played the first two (three?) chapters aaaaages ago, but I remember almost nothing about them, other than liking them well enough. With how infrequently these chapters are released, I'd rather just wait until it's all out to finish it up!

The only reason I know about Taylor Swift is because someone linked a video either on these forums or in IRC. I don't remember which. Anyway it was a fun poppy song. Not sure she's deserving of all this vitriol. Then again, I don't think she's all that important, either, unless you like her music.

Deadlines. It's not very complicated. I just don't like doing it. There doesn't exist a "game jam", as the current definition goes, that won't stress me the fuck out. That's fine. EDIT: It's entirely possible that were I in a better mental state, I could manage it without feeling stressed out. So chalk it up to me being unable to handle it, even though I know that logically it should be stress-free.

I need to play Musical Stacks to see if it's stealing my idea that I stole from someone else. Anyway I'm unwilling to participate in jams of any sort because I get stressed out. I've done it twice now and I finished one (Twirly Bird!), but didn't finish anything for the other, and ugh it's too much for me. Everyone else seems to love it, though, so there's that.

I actually engaged with the guy and then he blocked me on Facebook. Presumably because I pointed out that he was saying some sexist shit. Fortunately I don't have any idea who he is, so no loss on my part. But fuck me. This is what I said to him that triggered the block. There's some anger in the for sure because I wasn't exaggerating. I was shaking. It was uncomfortable as hell. I'm still reeling a little. I don't think I said anything outrageous there, but if it looks like I did, please tell me?

Whoa. I've heard some really terrible things about Kixeye in terms of blatant unapologetic sexism and racism. That was a few years ago, though, so maybe they've improved. (They're a SF flash game dev. They made the first TD game I played: Desktop Defender.) Their advertising was also... something to see. Once. Well that's enough rambling I guess.

A common source of lack of motivation is actually just depression! Or some I'm told by a lot of people. Anyway that's where I'm at! It's fun!
