If I'm not mistaken (I probably am since I don't really care about Star Wars lore or whatever), isn't the idea behind a lightsaber that it's a laser being contained by the power of the Jedi Knight him/herself? Soooo, a whip totally could make sense if the knight was skilled enough to handle the rapidly-varying shape of the laser?

Oh man the Jetsons movies were among my favorite. Also loved the massive amount of Hanna Barbera Christmas movies. And loved loved loved when they'd show up during Cartoon Network's Christmas in July events.

When I was chopping up vegetables for my chili last night I just gave up on standing and sat in a chair instead. The counter top was a little tall for me buuut better than an aching back. PS, the chili is all right. I need crackers for my chili and I didn't have any, but it definitely tasted fine! I have a lot leftover, though. It's all in the freezer, except for like two servings, which I'll eat over the course of the next few days.

Why is everything built for short people?! Everyone's always jealous of my height but I'm like fuck off I wish my back didn't hurt from having to bend over all the time.

Morrigan is great! Iron Bull was okay. Dorian was undeniably the best character in Inquisition. (Sorry, Varric, you were the best in 2, but you kind of sucked in this game.)

TP is actually a good game, despite what the internet will tell you. It's just got the worst, longest, most boring tutorial outside of Skyward Sword.

Air Bud and Homeward Bound and Dunston Checks In where my three animal movies, IIRC. I probably watched Homeward Bound the most out of them, and I think I liked it mostly because there were no dumb humans ruining the show, for the most part.

It's not just about stress, Gorm, it's about antagonizing Molyneux into submission.

Frankly, when I'm having a "conversation" with someone being as hostile as John Walker, I find it very difficult to remain calm and consistent in my responses. That interview is a fucking terrible way to get any sort of impression of Peter Molyneux. It's a goddamn mess. You can even see Molyneux breaking down and saying "Fine, fine, I'm done," and only then does Walker half-apologize for the "misunderstanding" of his "accidental" hostility. Multiple times! How can you trust anything coming out of this shitfest, besides 1) confirming that, yeah, Molyneux promises more than he can handle, and 2) Molyneux is a human being and stresses out under pressure just like the rest of us? Both of which anyone could've figured out by just reading past interviews or talking to him.

Why? Optimism can certainly be bad in overwhelming doses (ala Molyneux's "lies"), but taken on its own that statement is... "I had faith that I/we could do these things. I was wrong."

This morning, I heard someone who has previously said, "We don't need feminism. If you don't like it, don't buy it," go off on a rant about how Twilight and similar is ruining women because it makes them expect something out of men that isn't reasonable. UUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

From what I understand, the engine they use (Marmalade) was at one point itself supposed to support Linux, at least implicitly ("All platforms!") if not explicitly. Easy mistake to make; still, should've done the research. But yeah, once again, it's held up as Molyneux intentionally deceiving everyone.
