The shit that goes down in Kill la Lill is, I think, largely something you don't really get unless you've been inundated with anime sexy girl magic girl bullshit for a long time. Other people can explain it better than me, but basically it's not something I'd ever recommend to someone who isn't a massive anime nerd already. The stuff in your spoiler though particularly I'm not sure serves a real purpose other than to show how despicable her mom is... It's definitely uncomfortable to watch.

It's funny for me, reading this, because I'm not from the UK and everything I know about UKIP can be found in the Regular Features podcast, where they regularly make fun of UKIP and once had a long-running bit where they trolled some UKIP mailing list. So, good. This is good.

FWIW the animation and presentation when it actually shows them playing is kind of amazing. The animation actually matches the sound they're playing! Well, okay, I can't promise that, since I don't actually remember anymore which notes match which combination of valves pressed. At the very least it looks convincing compared to my decade-old memories of playing trumpet. Also they had marching band uniforms, and everything, though they were the typical cutesy style uniforms you expect from anime(/Japan?). (Girls wore short skirts, etc.) I dunno what the high school band scene is like in Japan!!! Anyway it was really great and then it was over. ): Oh they did have some color guard, too, but it was mostly mentioned in passing, much like in this post.

I haven't been playing this since I started replaying Dark Souls but I'm on the fourth level of the third Pthumeru chalice and I wish I was home right now so I could go explore it.

I have continued replaying this and I'm using the estoc and crest shield and pyromancy although I think I'd like to get a different weapon I'm not sure. I helped a naked red dude with a giant sword fight the bell gargoyles last night. He clearly didn't need help. I tried to help someone else. We got invaded and I died. That was the first PvP I've ever actually done in a Souls game. He blew me up with fire when I was on a ladder. X: I'm pretty sure I backstabbed him once but it just didn't trigger. I know I was in the right position. Lag I guess. Oh well.

I don't have the answer to your question, and this is completely unrelated, but for some reason I suddenly remembered a book I read a lot when I was a kid, but don't know if I ever fully grasped it: The Ear, the Eye and the Arm. That book was fucking weird, if I recall correctly, and I kind of want to read it again now, It'd probably not take long, since I know it's a YA book. Wonder if it's on Kindle...

I've certainly seen real women wear shorts like that but even though I know they're "shorts" they elicit a reaction from me like "wow that's some nice underwear". That said, I can't say I really care one way or the other if people choose to wear that kind of thing, and also I just accept that Harley dresses like that at this point, even though the first Harley I knew wore a full-body jester outfit.

ANYWAY RAD edit: and it's over in a single episode All right I'm not usually one to complain about length five episodes in, and I realize this is meant to be more about a concert band competition than a little one-off marching band festival, but that was absurdly fast. If there's one legitimate issue I have it's that this anime is flying by. Everything's happening so fast. Except... for the character relationships. With how fast they went from "we're a shitty club that doesn't give a fuck" to "we're going to take the scene by storm", you'd think Kumiko would've worked shit out with her old classmate by now but it only just happened. The difference in pacing between character development and band development is... well, something's wrong. I'm no longer concerned about them not getting enough done in 12 episodes. I'm now concerned they'll get way too much done. Also man playing your trumpet in that situation would get you in so much trouble!

I do it pretty frequently because I pick random LC and then a bunch of people on my team pick laning farming carries and I have no choice. You just farm up a blink and start killing everyone. Easy.

Yeah stopping berserker's blood or pa's crits or drow's massive agility buff is pretty awesome. (Although the last one mostly doesn't matter as much since in a lot of cases the invis initiation will get you close enough to disable Marskmanship anyway.) Only downside is it doesn't work through BKB and also BKB will purge it. But that's not a huge deal since BKB has a much longer cooldown.

Yeah leshrac has been one of my favorites for so long and I love seeing him more often. This also brings back the high impact non-support leshrac (in pubs, at least, no idea how he's doing in pro games) (also which has actually been on its way back for a while with all the lightning buffs - god that spell used to suuuuck!). Super stoked about this last push!!! These items are really doing a lot to the game. I love new items. :DDD

Well it fits pretty much exactly the typical sports anime structure, but instead it's about concert band, so it's actually something I did. Also it is amusingly touching on a lot of feelings I had about concert band (and probably more so marching band). We always competed in the national marching band tournaments but it was like why are we doing this we're nowhere near good enough... But we kept doing it. And then we stopped doing it... And it was devastating for me. And then I stopped caring about band altogether. So, yeah. This is pretty much fantastic!

I've still just mostly been watching Gintama... I'm 30 ish episodes in now. It's great. For currently airing junk I've only been keeping up with Sound! Euphonium, which is pretty much fantastic. I'm worried it'll be way too short at only half-cour length...

I think you can usually clean the paint off, if you use the right stuff? At least that's what people doing custom amiibos or whatever say.
