:tup: Well said valve. I've pirated games in my time, but I have found them to be mostly games I've just wanted to check out and not a game I was waiting for. With Steam sales I am often buying these games I would have normally just pirated because I doubt my own willingness to actually get my moneys worth out of the game itself due to no real over-the-top interest in the game. For instance, Torchlight, I've never been huge into Diablo, especially a single player one at that. however I heard a lot of good things and it seems like a good game to jump in and out of from time to time. I wouldn't have paid the full price point for it. but when it went down to 5 bucks (maybe it was 9.99) I couldn't say no. I even bought it for my brother and a friend. With digital distribution cost being a lot lower then that of creating a disc, box and then shipping it all over the globe, I find it hard to pay for any game with a full retail cost when it essentially feels like a OEM purchase. /shrug

Ok I added everyone to my friends list from the first post in this thread and installed skype ( Inph1del ) - so far no accepted friends :< /cry I'll be at six flags sunday so i'll be missing out on the fun, however friday I might be gaming all night long so hit me up on steam if anyones looking for some coop or bc2!

Hey Thumbs, I know a game Chris would love if only the community didn't dwindle down. DeathBall! - A First Person Sports mod for Unreal with a main gameplay mechanic of Boosting! It was the first video game I ever played that felt like an actual sport then a video game of a sport. An interesting thing happened with DeathBall where the community was pretty large for awhile but eventually as the community grew as a whole in skill, the learning curve of the game actually deterred new players from joining because the mechanics of the game was much like someone trying to play ice hockey with pro's but not being able to skate. and eventually it all collapsed on its self. I'm wondering what you guys think about the First Person sports games like Dodgeball, and how they could become more popular.

I am loving BC2, Its hard for me to group up in pugs, so i'm looking for some ppl who play on PC that wanna team up and keep me from just blowing myself up all the time ;P BB9v8QntgVk

Recently finished Batman: AA (wrote a review) loved it! Did Portal Again for kicks! Finally finished my Hl2 Episode 2 Last night Samorost 1 and 2. - Long time since I played a cool adventure game I'm usually late to the party!

Pirates will always pirate. Most of the time I find these are people who wouldn't buy the game to begin with, but when they can get it for free they will just to check it out. I can't totally blame them considering how many bad games are out there. It's the same thing for DVD. anywhooo I picked it up and I'm enjoying it a lot!

I am wondering where this weeks episode is I finished listening to every episode this week and now i'm just boreeed at work. boo.

I still have not gotten more then 2 hours into this game. its like yay! i'm back in rapture. and then its like ohh boo. its not as cool anymore. :< I find myself wishing they'd just remake system shock 2 - and fix it up with that community made multiplayer patch. tho i do have a fun story with that mod having to do with trying to share ammo with a friend and having it turn into unmovable game props spawning from my backpack

is that real drums or something like Reason, fruity loops, or some kinda tracking (my band used impulse tracker lol) program?

Sup everyone. I never really listened to pod casts up till about 5 months ago when a few friends started getting somewhere with their own (Shot Gun of Evil Avatar) in any case I found it helped pass the time at work and decided I needed to find more Gamer Pod casts! fun story is I found this one just after the original end of the show. I was sad but hurray the show is back, and I have just spent the last month listening to every episode! so whewwww, here I am hoping to play some games with like minded people!
