I've been playing this lately and... it's an odd one. It's good, for sure and there's something inherently satisfying about piecing together each logic puzzle. But I can definitely see a point in the not-to-distant future where I hit a skill wall and get completely stuck.

Maximum disappointment confirmed - Prey gets a sequel

It's a shame they feel the need to generic up the protagonist, but to be honest there was plenty else that the original did that made it slightly different from all the other shooters out there. As long as it keeps up with some of that weirdness I'll be looking forward to it. ... As long as it starts in a bar with a mirror in the bathroom and a jukebox I'll be looking forward to it. -
Yeah, Zen Pinball's actually pretty good. Nothing too exciting, but well presented all the same. According to the EU Playstation blog, next month's free game will be Season 3 of Sam & Max. Quite excited about this because it's the first game they're giving away that I don't already own (excluding some minis). The system sets the games expiry date as the last day of your current subscription, I assume it goes online and checks if you've renewed the subscription at that point and, if not, the game stops working.

Ir/rational By: Tom Jubert (Narrative Designer of Penumbra) Available: Free download Synopsis: A one room text adventure in which you use propositional calculus to create rational arguments for escape (and to prove that Michael Atkinson is a douche.) More: http://www.tomjubert.com/irrational

http://steamcommunity.com/id/Octaeder01 Mostly TF2 that I play online. Also would like to start playing Left 4 Dead (original) - I've a nasty tendency to not join random people for co-op games so I've left it grossly unplayed.

Octaeder I'll be mostly playing Battlefield BC2 over the next [insert number] months.

Hi All I've registered after a year of listening to the show. Mostly because all my friends are terrible poeple who are scared of PCs.

Yeah, there's a level of disconnect online that you'd think would be necessarty to make the story work. Online you could accurately take any tone needed to get across the story you had in mind. If it's being played locally then my flatmate would likely just give me a slap for being too pretentious/obtuse. I'll still be interested to see the promised video explaining the second player interface, though.

Void only just came out this weekend in the UK, so I'll be putting some time into that this weekend. I've been a big fan of the series since the release of Beat, but I'm absolutely terrible at Core.
