  1. Left 4 Thumbs

Yes please, let's get together for one last job (until L4d3 that is )
  2. Battlethumbs: Idle Company

Yeah, I had a similarly unsatisfactory time. Couldn't join at all at 8 then I tried an hour later, got in, and was stuck in a 3 person squad. But it seems like it could have been fun if it had worked
  3. Left 4 Thumbs 2

No, there have only been 2 so far - realism versus (great) and bleeding out (not so great).
  4. Making Music

I mainly use Audiomulch - http://www.audiomulch.com/ It's fun to toy around with and you can get some very interesting sounds if you go a bit mad and chain lots of things together. This is what I tend towards. Free 60 day trial too. Otherwise, you've got your classic Reason, Fruity Loops etc Also Hammerhead's a nice easy and fun drum machine but not really midi (but it is free) - http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/download.shtml
  5. Left 4 Thumbs 2

I'm up for it as well. Tally me up.
  6. Left 4 Thumbs 2

Yeah, we Thumbs had a fun run through the new campaign and then I played a couple of public VS games of the realism versus mutation. Can massively recommend it. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would and it seemed especially to suit The Passing. Nice and quick too.
  7. Left 4 Thumbs 2

I think the best bit was waiting aaaaaaaages for you to reconnect and then you dying 10 seconds after you managed to get in
  8. Battlethumbs: Idle Company

Aha, hadn't noticed that. Thanks Toblix
  9. Battlethumbs: Idle Company

This could be moot for me as, so far, I haven't found a way to change my name without creating a new soldier and wiping out all the earned shiny things this game dangles like so many participles. Am I just being dense? Anyone know how to change their name? (non-Steam install by the way)
  10. Battlethumbs: Idle Company

That was a great game today. I rarely had any idea what was going on, who I was or where I was going but still massively enjoyed it. Hopefully, understanding will come with time.
  11. Books, books, books...

Yeah, I would definitely avoid ploughing; he can get a bit repetitive. Maybe limit yourself to a couple a year for maximum enjoyment.
  12. Books, books, books...

Piccadilly Jim was the first Wodehouse I read and I can heartily recommend it. Also Laughing Gas is fun. To be fair, any Wodehouse will do
  13. New people: Read this, say hi.

Yeah, I must say I preferred Scratch's welcome
  14. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi all, I'm new to the forums but I've been playing the Left 4 Deads with a load of Thumbs forumites for a while now and I thought I'd better join so as not to be seen to be taking advantage. Plus, I heard there was a secret members bonus forum... turns out the rumours were true.
