Luigi's Mustache Competition: A personal request
Justin Leego replied to excalinator's topic in Idle Banter
Interesting that you can see the number of votes accumulated below each photo in the gallery. Internet campaign is working? (edit: pro linking skills) -
Its most well-known mod was a Legend of Zelda reskin called Rupee Commando.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS
Justin Leego replied to Henroid's topic in Video Gaming
Ohhhhh if they'd done this sooner we could have had Ballmer at E3. We'd all still be recovering from the aftershocks. -
Bundle leftovers hoooo! I would love a fully Steamified version of Cave Story. Others I would merely like, so will leave them and cross fingers for remnants of the remnants once Thumbs have had their fill.

It's an open secret understood by everybody except the two in question.

But don't they make garbage look really fun? Endless powerslides, Lynchian dream sequence jump-cuts, nonsensical dialogue with marionette lip syncing, camera flapping like a fresh eel, and a terrible Irish accent worthy of The Saboteur (great B-game btw). Oh, and some genuinely relatively impressive hair physics. I watched it up to the romantic engagement and I was all like UGH I had hoped Jim Sterling made this part up to see if anyone disobeyed his commandments and played the game.

Yeah the Everybody's Golf / Hot Shots games are a great mix of approachability and depth. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

James, we're on the same page but only for 8 more posts

On that note, which other countries tend towards using front and rear bumpers as parking aids?

Do not ask why you are seeing this Captcha. For then the Slenderman will appear behind you!

Thanks for posting about that Exodus news Tegs. I was curious to see how their (ex-?)president handled making the announcement at their annual conf so looked up the recording (starts at 21m40s, goes on for... a while). I do acknowledge that my interpretation may be affected by not having to deal directly with the harshest of E.I. stuff myself but I found he delivered it with more humility, sincerity and consideration that I'd expected. Some parts did stick in the craw a little, but the guy seemed genuinely, deeply regretful that E.I. did not represent the values of love, acceptance, safety and hope that it should have. Though I guess maybe he has come to personify those things a little due to his desire to see the organization fold as a result?

At some point, a high-ranking executive had to put their foot down and say "No, it's going to be spelt H-E-R-R-E"

Hmm. You know, that could be construed as a trick reference to Bicycle Race.

So ... does becoming a millionaire, in general, require other people to remain less well-off?

As long as Twiglet uses your avatar shrunk by 66% then I think we'll all know who's who.

Cool beans! Of course, now you've got all summer to game your ranking on RateMyProf

Alright. I've tried to stay out of this thread as much as possible, but finally cracked and ordered New Leaf. Hope to see you soon. Maybe together we can free Tom Nook.

Corner Gas made me feel bad for wanting it to be more like Trailer Park Boys but thanks for the Little Mosque recommendation, I'm only 6 years late to the party but liking it so far.

I agree with Rodi, the Lordsite looks well slick, they even have a cheerful lady to compère the videos! But seriously, any future prospective employer should understand the nature of the work and how things may or may not have gone down. Hopefully a casual recommendation from PA will still reflect well on those looking for alternative employment. Meant to ask earlier, but, Molydeux Game Jam next weekend? I had a look at the listings early on and saw a couple of signups looking to take part round your way. Might give you an opportunity to do something in a style you really enjoy (or a style that is bitingly satirical and professionally liberating), and a good way to make or strengthen contacts. Plus a chance to get fantastic exposure if your work happens to impress any passing journos, bloggers, tweeters or instagram-viners that drop by. (edits because I got worried about being read as patronizing instead of appropriately ' ')

Well that's an obvious falsehood. If it were not for Half-Life 2, Steam would not be as it is now, and then where would Surgeon Sim be now? Gam3 on!
