Supreme. Subbes and unknown artists, you are supreme. Also if Bobby Kotick and J. Allard could stop reading the thread that would be great.

I'll third the Endless Ocean and Euro Truck suggestions. There's also the Aquanaut's Holiday series you might like if you have some older systems. The Sims could fit the bill as well. Not a game, but you can use the f.lux program to alter the color balance on your computer display, making it warmer and eliminating the blue tones that tell your brain to stay alert because it's still daytime.

Strangely, the Kotaku sidebar points to an earlier story (1/20/14) about the same incident which names the industry vet and publishes the exchange in much more detail. But yeah, agree with your prognosis that this is a regrettable situation in many ways.

Fortnite, Infinity Blade ∞, Unreal 4rtnite IV, Tournament Jackrabbit. -
Twig, if you somehow ended up receiving and then hand delivering the Nick painting, you'd be able to write a secret UV message over the top. But as James says, project is already awesome.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS

I thought he left Epic before Judgement shipped and left Irrational when his job getting Binfinite into a shippable state was done? Then there was talk that he would head up 2K's SF team after Marin's headcount was reduced. So that might not be good news for 2K on the east coast. Be interesting to see what comes out of Irrational once the second crossover BioShock expansion comes out. Anyway, smart acquisition of talent, there's been a high rate of departures at Epic (senior People Can Fly peeps left at the same time as Rod, now making The Vanishing of Ethan Carter). But yeah like you say there can't be much doubt Epic is now a technology outfit, depending on what happens to the Infinity Blades. -
This dude More "Axel 'Games' F" in the thread for Ep. 112. Warning: disturbing Sonic fanart alert.

Couple of tweets / days later and he's lamenting the overuse of the word "pause" ("I'm really looking forward to the day when "pause" gets it's recognition as the most oversatured/played out word in the game" 13 May 2009). So yeah, maybe. Perhaps there's a Macklemore scholar among us who can illuminate.

Both: Do you wrap non-biodegradable plastic in biodegradable plastic or biodegradable plastic in non-biodegradable plastic? What is the common hierarchy of plastics in professional circles?

If you were a mailman then you'd be up at 5AM anyway, right? It's a sign. Become a mailman and then work afternoons as a highly paid freelancer.

Only because the AC games nicked their walk cycle from the Lord of the Rings films. Aha!

Thanks Wrestle. -
I always picture Nick swinging back on his chair (to the silent, internalized consternation Chris "Sound Levels" Remo) or sitting on a sofa near the casting table, observing Neptune's Pride or SomethingAwful on a tablet computer, but not at the casting table. He is aloof in his certainty and determination. But he is an essential member of The Team, by presence or absence. Some sort of Elizabethan or even Renaissance era weinhandling depiction may be suitable. Renaissance era allows for Nicolas to become a Machiavellian cherub. Are the Obama and Sean custom bobbleheads still going ahead? They could, somehow be framed. The heads would bobble whenever you adjust the frame. Ideally a weight would be placed in one of the bottom corners of the frame, meaning that it would always be slightly askew, in need of constant adjustment.

How much do you allow yourselves to know about the upcoming Daily Challenge before attempting it? I'll usually look at the leaderboards for a target and an idea of where people are getting to, sometimes check the thread for any chat, but stop short of watching videos. Maybe I've gone too far already. -
I can well believe it given his reputation as a perfectionist.

Yes! Use a spy-grade listening device to determine the precise best moment to storm the building, dressed as Big Bird. Wear a GoPro and livestream the whole thing.

Hearty congrats Twig. I hope you like steak!

I'm not sure it's fair to term this AAA though. It might have a big license courtesy of parent company Warner Bros, and it's certainly referencing some very polished products in its design, but Monolith (which has absorbed what remained of Snowblind Studios after War in the North, right?) hasn't exactly been afforded the status of a triple A dev recently. On the other hand, even if FEAR 3's campaign was ropey, the multiplayer modes had some good and fresh ideas about it.

Do they dare have words with Warners over Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga? I mean, that's on the App Store and it very recently went quasi-free to play. I suppose it depends on what sort of instructions the legal team are operating under... -

I think there might be scope for two Thumb crews actually. Either way I'll bow out of tonight's in favor of someone with more time available. -
