I never enable voice if Im playing with someone I dont know. Get out of my ears, butts. Also, "real" dota starts when you aren't playing against/with people who buy Dagon level 5 on Queen of Pain. Also 2: there is single player. You can play versus bots if you create a private game and turn bots on to fill empty slots. You can play team of players versus team of bots too. I suspect the game is still invite only because basic stuff like tutorial is still missing. You will never be good at dota though. I've played dota for 5 years and I'm still garbage.

Valve have been pretty honest about how they are making dota2 as mechanically identical to wc3 dota as they can. There are still a lot of things they can do to introduce people to the game, and I suspect they might just do that instead of changing the mechanics of the game. Luckily my girlfriend plays video games (but she thinks dota is ridicilous anyway). All 3D movies I've seen just annoyed the hell out of me, and broke the movie experience completely. Oculus Rift just seem to go in the wrong direction to me? Why would I kickstart some gimmick we dismissed as stupid in the 1990s. I don't want to put anything on my head. I want 3D without any stupid goggles, and amazing surround sound without a headset (or complicated speaker set up).

I made some mods when I was younger. Some maps for Quake 3, Urban terror. I made a puzzle dungeon thing in Morrowind once and that was a good time. I had some friends who also did this so that probably helped versus figuring out everything on my own. I have also programmed some simple map generators for both 3d and 2d worlds, but I wouldn't call that games. Some AI stuff here and there for games too. I will never be a proffessional game maker though, I don't want to enter that clusterfuck of an industry (also I live in Norway).

Pretty sure a detective cant sneak attack a dragon, or sneak into the midst of a bandit camp and shitblast them with fireballs.

If you want to play Drow you really need to practice last hitting as well. If you get good at last hitting you will win because you will simply just have more gold than anyone else. Co-op versus bots is a pretty pointless exercise if you ask me.

I feel bad for the people who didn't play Morrowind because it was the best game in the series. Especially if you like "holy shit" moments I guess. I still have the Morrowind map on my wall http://gamechurch.co...orrowindmap.jpg . I've actually moved three times since I last played Morrowind and I still keep the map above my computer. Skyrim is pretty awesome though, and a lot better than Oblivion in pretty much every way I can think of.

His ult is a AoE 3 second disable? Pretty strong. Especially when you do it next to a tower when the enemy team is trying to push. Three enemies are punching at your tower, you are there invisible, a friendly Lord teleports in and the enemy thinks "what a fool". Then you pop your ult and you kill all of them.

Just wear no armor? Or wear iron armor? Who give a shit. You are playing single player. The game isn't exactly die hard hardcore difficult to play anyway.
