For something that could absolutely not be ported to consoles (which I feel about 90% of the other games here could be or have been) is really good strategy or simulation. The top two that come to my mind are the Total War series and the Silent Hunter series.

I could be mistaken that there's no way to actually BUY any cars in the game? I find myself taking the taxi a lot more this time around, mostly because I get so tired of trying to shake the police, but also I like the idea of an attempt at rehabilitation for Niko. For the DLC, I presume none of the changes carry over to the main game? Do they get the full city to roam around in? If so I might get the DLC and play through that instead. I wish there was a way to supplement the radio with your own stuff.

The church tower is the brick structure in the picture. Like I said, it's the archaeological site, not the actual fort, the first fort is in the river from the change in coastline. According to the site you linked all that stuff in the picture would be the second fort. This wasn't a tour, I was out in the middle of the river on a ferry. This is the site I used to supplement what I had already heard.

I just picked the game up again after stopping a few hours after the part you described. One thing I've noticed that I didn't before is the rapid characterization of Niko. He goes from being a sort of repentant, very reluctantly violent except in the case of protecting his family guy, to casually agreeing to murders without hesitation. There never seemed to be a dramatic shift that would have triggered this. Even the whole thing with Vlad seemed slightly justifiable to him, but after that it's just a series of casual murders. Also, how's the DLC? Did Lost and the Damned make the motorcycles any easier to control? Hot scoops mentioned on the latest cast that there was a type of coop thing as well.

Thought I'd go ahead and post the Colonial Williamsburg armory here as well as people might be interested. Williamsburg was the capital of Virginia after Jamestown until Thomas Jefferson moved it to Richmond. The armory played a fairly significant role in the equipment of the revolutionary army regiments from Virginia. This place is bittersweet however, as I have to drive through Colonial Williamsburg every day on the way back from school (I go to William and Mary, second oldest college/university in the US, alma mater to Thomas Jefferson and several other US presidents), and god damn every tourist slows down to look at it. The white building on the right is the court house, they have stockades out there you can still use to punish siblings.

Did a motorcycle trip today around the James River in Virginia. It's the river and the place where the English sailed up and settled Jamestown, the first British colony in America. Pictures here but my favorite is: That's the actual James Fort archaeological site, where the soldiers/colonists landed. The big obelisk is to celebrate the 300-Anniversary (1907). The brick building is the chapel which held the first representative legislative assembly in America.

Gah, everything sounded pretty cool up until they said that the 3G wouldn't be getting some features like multitasking. The folders look the best to me and would give me a way to dump all the shit apps that come on the phone that you can't get rid of.
