I sent one in, cause why not? [squid Division's last known post before he was brained with a ball-peen hammer. The murderer must have some kind of obsession with hammers or something.]

That was a ton of fun. I especially liked the bare-knuckle boxing in between sessions. Patters was especially adept at getting us through the modes, especially considering he had only gotten the game earlier that day. Cheers

Why don't you play REAL football? You know, the one you play with your hands?

I'm definitely in.

That might be the best glitch I have ever seen in a video game.

My Bethesda comment has nothing to do with the bugs I've encountered, sorry about that. It's more referring to my comment earlier about the design. In all my experiences in open world games, I've never had three or four bugs in the same spot, and only in the same section of the game.

Guh bugs are starting to get to me too. I hadn't seen any before West Elizabeth, now there are tons of them. I was hunting a bounty up in the mountains, and when I hog-tied him, he rocketed down the mountain like he was a fucking penguin. I slid down the mountain, killed him, since there was no way my horse would be able to make it down there, then his gang showed up and for some reason I couldn't pull my weapon. I died. Reloaded and went back, he ran his horse off the same cliff, I went down there, his gang showed up, and for some reason the framerate dropped about as fast as he did over the cliff. I just turned the game off. Bethesda really needs to make a western.

For the positives, the story is great. The first two acts were REALLY well put together. in New Austin reminded me of a way-better executed version of what Mass Effect was trying to accomplish. I also genuinely felt like a foreigner in Mexico, not like it was just populated with different people.

I think cougars are out to get me. I spent about an hour looking for foxes for the hunting challenge and each time I found one, there was a cougar right there to kill my horse and almost kill me. I think they were using the foxes to kill me. -- The acting is amazing in this game, but the writing for John is off. His character is very inconsistently extremely angry or contrastingly mellow. Also I don't really get the point of the honor system, as the story is completely linear. The game is great but it's pointing out so many things that I already really didn't like in the archaic Rockstar game design.

God damned bears. I warped to the forest to hunt some boar and as soon as it loaded I got knocked sideways off my horse by a bear, killing my horse and damn near killing me. 4 pump shotgun blasts later and I was going to skin it when I got slammed from behind from another bear, knocking me down a cliff. I somehow survived, but people aren't joking when they say that the bears are the most aggressive animals. Earlier I lost my horse I had had for most of the game when a boar ran up next to my horse. Apparently it was being chased by a bear.

I was not expecting a cart racing minigame.

Mine didn't change for like 3 in-game days. It was refreshing booting up today and not have it thunderstorming for once. It made it kind of hard to see stuff (especially dead animals to skin) out in the field, so I just went into town and played poker. And the fact that I did that because of the weather is kind of awesome.

A great game so far, been playing a bunch. A few minor gripes: It's almost impossible to get through small doors or use goofy ramps. The worst of both comes with the chicken coops. Multiplayer freeroam could do with some more gang hideouts. They're a lot of fun but you can get through all of them fairly quickly, and there isn't a whole lot else to do after them. The voice acting sounds kinda bad to me outside of the cutscenes, especially the horseback rides with Bonnie. For the treasure maps, make sure you read everything that's on them, the first two have stuff written on them that's as much as a clue as the 'maps'.

Brothers?

Now that I think about it, surely there's a way to go in and adjust the respawn rate in the game files?

I have a bunch of jobs to apply for and an interview on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll still have time to do a cross-country trip.

Woo just graduated. Done with school unless I decide that I actually want to at some point in the future.

It's gonna be like EuroTrip, except less suck

Well the top places I would go would be: La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona Spain The Cathedral of Seville in Sevilla, Spain (Carthaginian, Roman, Moorish, and Spanish architecture all in one building and I think it's where Christopher Columbus' tomb is buried (but probably not really)) Museum Island in Berlin (has a whole bunch of ancient stuff including the altar of Pergamon and the walls/gate of Babylon in the Ancient museum, there are also a bunch of others on the same island) The Eagle's Nest in Bavaria (Hitler's vacation place, supposed to be one of the most beautiful places in the world) -

Moscow and St. Petersburg were great if you've never been. St. Petersburg is still the exact same city all the writers from the 19th Century were talking about. (No idea what the Finnish/Russian relationship is now so sorry if this is an offensive suggestion).
