The Killstar's got a petting zoo going (seriously, they won't stop spawning): -

Paint would be AWESOME. I hope the water mob isn't an Octorok thing, that would suck. Also, since someone else is doing it, maybe it will be more stable. -
No. I think about half the games that actually have a cover mechanic actually need them. AC is about fluidity and movement, not being static. If anything the jumping direction detection needs to be improved instead so you can move instead of staying put.

There's also this tool for spheres. Maybe these should be up on IdleMC, cause that circle one is a lifesaver. -

Mushroom soup? I think it's a bowl and mushroom combined. -

Nope, we use this tool (courtesy of someone from Shacknews). Change the ratio to 1 and the Z to your desired radius. -

I think that posting on the front page would be a good way to get people because, for one, it's passive, so only people who would be coming to the site anyway would see it. The twitter accounts would be a much more far-reaching method for better or worse. We also don't have to use whatever our options are all at once either. Personally, we haven't had any issues with people screwing stuff up yet, and a few of our members (it seems to me) got more active in the forums because of the server. Open it up, let them come, and if we have to eat a couple vandalisms, so be it. -

Hide them underground in a place only you know about, like some kind of Great Depression person. -

I'd be very much in favor with advertising it on Idle Thumbs related things; the front page, the twitter account, other things (?). The permissions seem to prevent random passers-by from vandalizing. We haven't had any problems with purposeful vandalization from whitelisted members have we? -

Thunderpeel - here's the crafting recipe list I use all the time. You can also find the properties of the different blocks to find out if they do anything weird (like reeds blocking water, etc.) -

I kinda like the obstinateness of the vanilla tracks, but I'm not opposed to that. -

Not to mention damn near unusably confusing. -

I'm out of town so I won't be there tonight. I'll be on tomorrow though. Pick a good one, and watch out for mobs! -

The 1st is usually a day of recovery, and a Saturday, so I'd throw that out there just to get the conversation started. 600-900 GMT or so? -
I got a 2 TB WD MyBook last year for christmas, it was such a turd when I first got it. I've finally got it to be serviceable but the computer still won't boot with it attached, even after the BIOS settings were changed. I got a new WD hard drive (not a MyBook) and it seems to be working well, guess I'll make the old one a backup drive. Basically, I can empathize with you to the utmost degree.

Yeah I was going to say something about how awesome they were, but no one else acted like they were out of the ordinary. Don't you do graphic design or something Kingz? -
Problem with steam copies of Silent Hunter vs. physical, as my brother found out, no cards that tell you what all the damn controls are. These are vital and you'd probably want to print out a list if you're just starting out.

Lack of iron means you'll have to go exploring for it, which means finding underground mobs, which means you'll have to go in groups. Isn't that what SMP should be all about? Did the repair bug get fixed? If so then iron is even more valuable since it's more common than diamond and sturdier than stone for tools. -

I think the hub should be under the CC. Makes the most sense right? -

Just think how much better we'd be having them from the start. I'm up for anything with mobs. Moving or resetting would give us back that natural, lived-in/amateur feeling the first server had, I think. -

Very nice work on the Bomberman.

Not one worth playing in my opinion. The enemies always felt kind of cheap and they CONSTANTLY take away control of the player for cutscenes that could easily be done 'in-game'.

Unfortunately I can't post the video directly in the thread, but I assure you that GWAR playing Kinect and touring the GameInformer offices is really damn awesome and funny.
